Rebecca is a highly skilled Certificate IV qualified veterinary nurse. She enjoys all animals the more exotic the better, ideally a mini pig but has settled with "Mater", a cat who arrived here as a pregnant stray, and her wonderful rescue greyhound, "Elroy". Rebecca is working a shorter week these day as she is now mum to two human boys.
We are accredited by the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board to carry out major surgical procedures. Any surgery carries some risks but with appropriate consideration of the patients species, breed, age and health status, as well as best practice management, the risks are minimised. A Anaesthetic are the responsibilty of the veterinarian who is assisted by a qualified and trained veterinary nurse.
Our pets health is important to us and we are here to look after your animals from infancy through to old age. As they age faster that we do annual check ups are important and this is usually done at the time of vaccination. Sometimes this is all that is needed for many years when a preventative health protocol is followed.
If we suggest pathology tests it doesn't necessarily mean you should worry, sometimes it's for peace of mind. Each year we do a free pathology including urinalysis and blood glucose testing (for older cats) as monitoring can result in an early warning that something may not be right. By being proactive we can keep your pet healthy.

I love this Vets. Some of my animals are very nervous but none have gotten upset or misbehaved for these lovely ladies at the vets. Emergencies sometimes happen and you need to see a vet quickly and this Vet's always let me been by a vet even if it's close to closing time. This has been a big plus factor for me because animals don't always get sick or injure themselves during 9-5. Lovely, lovely staff too...

Excellent cat boarding for peace of mind when we go away - he can't get into strife with cars, snakes or ticks! He's always very well looked after and makes human friends easily.
The themed cat bedrooms are good fun.😊
The only snag is you have to book very early if you want a spot for Christmas - the word has got out how good they are!
