Our coaches and staff are professional and friendly, ready to help you achieve your goals and come fully qualified. We love training and fitness and we love what we do. Owner, manager and head coach at CrossFit King. With over 16 years of experience as a secondary Physical Education teacher prior to opening his affiliate in 2010, Jim began his own CrossFit training in 2007.

He currently holds a Level 3 CrossFit coaching certificate and Cert III and IV in Fitness and has seen thousands of members over the years transform their physical and mental selves through the daily application of proven training principles. He loves the variety and personal accountability of CrossFit, and favours the gymnastic elements.

Originally operating out of a small back yard shed, CrossFit King is a purpose-built CrossFit gym located in Salisbury, Brisbane. Owners Jim and April King are dedicated to improving their members' quality of life with a comprehensive service that effectively increases their physical capacities.

Applying the proven CrossFit methodology of constantly varied functional movement performed at an individually appropriate high intensity, CrossFit King delivers long-term health benefits to all members and challenges each person to pursue goals that express maximal athletic potential.In addition, their services include personal training, Physiotherapy, Pilates, sports massage, lifestyle education seminars, sports injury management and nutrition.
Functional and intense fitness classes comprising daily workouts that constantly vary. Workouts may contain a mix of body weight gymnastics exercises, weightlifting movements and general cardiovascular activities such as running, rowing or bicycling. CrossFit is renowned for having standardised bench mark and hero workouts that may be performed at any CrossFit gym anywhere in the world.
Our weightlifting classes are specialised classes to help you learn and perform your Olympic lifting movements with optimum technique as well as improving your strength and overall conditioning. These classes are included in CrossFit Plus membership but otherwise you must pay as you go to join in. Classes are held on Thursday mornings at 5am and Saturdays at 7am.
CrossFit kids is a fun way to get your child moving in various ways to improve their confidence, co-ordination, balance, agility, strength and fitness. Classes will vary each lesson and involve a mix of play based games, weightlifting techniques, simple gymnastics, running, rowing, skipping, bodyweight exercises and more.
This class is very much a copy of adult CrossFit classes with a different flavour/culture designed to appeal for this age group. Teens will learn weightlifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit gymnastics exercises mixed with general fitness activities and body weight exercise. This class is great for adolescents 13-17 years old.

Best CrossFit gym ever… my partner and I move around a lot and get the opportunity to try different boxes. We love this gym so much - great people, great space and the programming is 10/10.

The owners, April and Jim are a professional and highly experienced team as are their trainers. I have been attending HIIT classes with Kris who is passionate about his profession and always comes up with varied and challenging sequences at each visit. The facilities are open and very spacious and equipment is cleaned after each use. Their prices are competitive and their personal service is always friendly. So much better than a conventional gym with a relaxed, supportive and inviting atmosphere. If I could rate more than 5 stars they would be 10!

I dropped in to hit an open workout while I was traveling through Brisbane on a two-month east coast trip. I really can't thank Jim enough - he went out of his way to accommodate the best time for me, made me feel very welcome, and did a great job helping me with strategy and pushing me to do my best. I surpassed my goal for that workout and wish that I could have stayed in Brisbane longer to drop in again! This CrossFit box gets my highest recommendation.

Excellent CrossFit box. Jim, April and the other instructors are great, there's a really welcoming friendly atmosphere making it a fun place to train which delivers results. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get in shape, work hard and have some fun
