We stayed for one night, and it was lovely. The room felt spacious, was equipped with everything we needed. The view's were very nice form our room. Staff were extremely friendly. Only thing that would need maintaining id the vegetable gardens. But understandable given the current times. I would highly recommend to anyone, but I would suggest staying for more than 1 night. I would suggest anything more than 2 nights would be a good option. It is only a very short trip from the CBD, but feels as though I am further away.

Very average stay. The hotel and its maintenance does not do justice to the beautiful location it is situated in. The room wasn’t up to the expected standard, as it was quite dated and the bed was old as ever. Clearly the hotel is understaffed as we saw many places were yet to be cleaned. Restaurant and the staff was excellent, we had the breakfast buffet and it was worth it. Recommend a stay here given it’s one night and you want to wake up to a breath taking view of Lake Samsonvale.

If you are planning a short trip away from Brisbane, Mercure clear mountain lodge can be your option. Surround yourself with natural green and beautiful views. Staff at reception are very friendly and efficient. Resort room are freshly renovated and well presented, they provide nespresso machine with coffee pods if you are not a fan of instant coffee. Facilities are a bit disappointed, there are a pool and a tennis court, would be nice to have some renovations/upgrades, one restaurant and spa service in the resort. Short drive to lake Samsonvale for kayaking or bush walking.

I feel like the only reason I can give this place 1 stars is because they gave us a free wine.
The rooms were run down, it was unclean, the shower pressure was affected based on who was using the showers, the area stunk of cigarettes, the tap in our bathroom was broken, the pictures look very different to what you actually receive. The receptionist was quite rude as well. It’s clear that this place hasn’t had a proper clean in a while. Our balcony was so filthy I didn’t even want to sit out there. We were promised a good view and were left with a view of the bush which just added to how

A nice quiet place to relax and unwind on a mountain! Views of Brisbane City, North Pine Dam and surrounds! We had a lovely relaxing time in a privilege room! We had a treed view from our room, while strolling around the Lodge grounds, there are other views to be seen! A small vineyard and tennis court, swimming pool and arbours for weddings or parties!
Plenty of on-site parking!
Mandy’s on the mountain was a great on-site restaurant for dinner!
The shower in the room was decadent ( rain) shower! Nice soft, comfy bed with lovely air conditioning!

Worst hotel to stay in, prices are 4 star however service is 1 star. Rooms are so old not cleaned properly. Gym is closed due to maintenance but they are also short on staff. No bottled water in the room. No WiFi. When we asked about it on the first day the lady on the reception was very rude to my husband that ruined the beginning of a much needed vacation. Prices at the restaurant were so expensive for a family. The only good thing about it is the nature around it. So disappointing. We stayed in hotels around the world from 1 star to 5 stars even motels were better than this

We loved our overnight stay here. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean with two queen beds, balcony and a lovely view. We had dinner in the restaurant which was beautiful and again, very friendly staff. The views from the restaurant deck are amazing and the property is well maintained considering all the trees and bush land. It is so quiet and peaceful, no traffic noise or anything. Breakfast was included and the food was amazing and the staff even better. Could not fault the place and can’t wait to visit again.

We were impressed with the staff, particularly Amy and Renee in the restaurant who put up with our good spirits and bent over backwards to accommodate our whims in regard to our meals. Thanks must also go to the chef who tweaked his menu for our pleasure. Hope we weren't too difficult. Our rooms were very comfortable with everything we needed. Beds particularly comfortable. We know it has been an awful time for the whole hospitality industry over the last couple of years and it is commendable that the hotel managed to look after us as if everything was how it used to be.
