Captain Cook Hotel
With new owners the Captain Cook Hotel Botany has recently re-opened after undertaking a significant renovation of its Public Bar, Gaming Room, TAB, Sports Bar, Bathrooms & Beer Garden. With a new vision & focus for a community pub we think you will enjoy what we've done to the old girl. Botany's favourite pub has just got better.

In what is now undoubtedly one of Sydney's great Beer Garden's the new area features a beautifully redesigned space to eat, drink & enjoy the surrounds of this garden oasis. Rather than lease our Kitchen out to another contractor, we always control the kitchen at our venues. This ensures that our produce, meals & specials are always of the highest possible standard.

All the Room's need upgrading and remodeling for the cost of the Rooms!
I would never spend the $$$ they ask for 1 night in this Historic Hotel. The prices are way too expensive when there is very minimal comfort to the Rooms.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any place. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you definitely won't be disappointed.
Loved staying at the Captain Cook Hotel. Workers were so friendly and helpful in every possible way. The gym is one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel as well. Pool, sauna, steam room all were perfect. Look forward to staying again

My friend and I had trouble checking in for a one night stay. After a fifteen minute wait for the front desk to find our reservation we went up to our room where we found another family!!! The mother of this family had identical key cards to me and my friend. Her children were also in the room. A huge safety issue and privacy violation on both our ends. We went back down to the front desk to get the situation sorted and find out that they booked her into OUR room. No IDs were checked in the process of the check in, leaving both of our parties vulnerable. After then entire debacle we weren’t even

Don’t stay here! Came to stay overnight on New Years and see the fireworks that are within view of the hotel. Tried to make a reservation online and called 20 minutes later to confirm only to be blown off and told to wait for email confirmation. No email confirmation was sent to me. Called a second time and had to painstakingly make a reservation over the phone. I came to the hotel in the evening of December 31 to check in, only to be met with a stressful situation as the front desk had trouble locating my reservation. This was due to negligence of the front desk staff and booking a family I

For the price I don't feel it's worth it. You have to pay for parking which is 30 dollars a day in the parking garage across the street or find a meter and pay. They have a valet which is the same as parking in the garage. The biggest issue we had with our stay of 4 nights is that on the second day we put our clean room sign up at 8 am. When we came back at 930 that night the room had not been cleaned at all. We left it for the next day, still no room service. If I'm paying 190 dollars a night (that includes parking) then I expect at the very least for my room to be refreshed when I followed the

Service is consistently friendly and rooms are always clean. The past two times I've stayed here the room's safe hasn't worked. After reporting this to hotel maintenance they addressed it within minutes both times.

Beautiful hotel great staff and the rooms are amazing! Gorgeous shops on the main level especially Stephen fine arts! I love that gallery they have some of the most beautiful pieces in Alaska with the best staff ever! The hotel is clean and very nice! The artwork throughout the entire hotel is purely Alaskan and I especially love the beds in the rooms they are so comfortable. The view from the rooms are amazing especially if you get one looking out over the ocean or even the city and the mountains. The pool is clean and the banquet rooms are huge! I would definitely recommend visiting during Christmas

It was the best hotel during our entire Alaska stay. They had amazing amenities. The view from the room was breathtaking. Their pool service was great.
The restaurants in the hotel are great! Highly recommend their fancy Crow’s Nest restaurant for a date night. They are booked so don’t forget to make reservations and n advance. Their breakfast and brunch restaurant ‘The pantry’ was amazing. We wanted to go to another place for brunch but they had 75+ min waiting. We loved the loved here. The staff is very friendly and will offer recommendations if you need them.
We’ll Definitely will

Well located hotel, many rooms to select, we have a single suite with plenty of room and amenities in Tower three with nice views of the city.
Room was a little noisy but in general was a good experience.
Nice restaurants and bars.
Quick and friendly personnel.
Excellent checking in.
You can choose the valet service at a hefty price or you can park your car at night for free on the street, we chose the street parking and found a spot that I could see from our room..
Great experience...highly recommended

Apparently, this pub was named as being in a location where nobody actually lives. Well, it does happen to be in the middle of an industrial area, though I did manage to get down here, and on a Saturday nonetheless, to actually have a drink. Well, there is a bus that goes past every so often, so that helped me out somewhat. As a pub, it isn't bad, but it is what you tend to get when dealing with pubs in industrial areas. However, for such a pub it was actually not bad. It had a good vibe and even some nice beers on tap. Yeah, I liked it.

Cool local place to check out, pretty convenient to the airport.

So something interesting that I learned about Australian pub accommodations-- due to weird Australian liquor laws/licensing requirements, pubs had to have accommodations. This is why they are called hotels. It doesn't mean anything like a hotel you're probably used to if you're from the USA like me so don't expect more than the bare minimum if you're staying in any pub hotel.

I just came here for the food and the pokies (aka slot machines, because gambling is a whole other weird Australian thing) for the

Small hotel close to the Sydney airport. Location was a key factor in choosing this hotel. The room was clean upon arrival. Luxurious amenities are definitely not offered by this hotel. The check-in counter is located in the bar area of the restaurant. The restaurant boasts a lot of locals and the food looked good - however we did not try. The bed was fairly uncomfortable and there could have been an extra towel in the bathroom.

If in the area, I probably wouldn't stay here.
