The Baygarden buffet is excellent with few staff committed to great service and were very friendly. June is extremely knowledgeable and providing amazing service.Room service is the worst all the food we ordered were burnt.

Buffet dinner was below average and a major dissapointment, prawns and bugs were tasteless and had a strange smell. Food in general was boring with very little variety and quality was questionable. Such a let down for this time of year. Was placed under an air-conditioning vent that leaked. When i bought it to the attention of the wait staff she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. If i could give it no stars than i would.

This hotel would give you lovely view if you are lucky enough to get a sea view side.
FOOD
The food is good but if you are a vegetarian then you would hardly have any choice to eat. I survived on greens for three days. The hotel is also least bothered to do anything about it.
I think they should hire some more staff for answering room service , no one answers the calls.
HYGIENE
I saw two big cockroaches when I entered the bathroom.Sharing a picture below. The shower tap was frozen. They told me the person would come only tomorrow now. Then after waking up there was a constant hammering , grinding

Maybe my expectations are a little to high, but I booked this place expecting it not to be as run down as what it is.
Clearly the owners of this Novotel have zero interest in keeping it fresh and tidy, sure the bed looks good but the ripped carpet and the cupboard doors that do not properly close is just a let down.
Now I booked one of the bigger rooms with a spa, and I am not sure I am going to be able to fit in the spa, and zero chance of fitting two adults in it.
If you are one who likes the TV in your face, then it totally perfect for you as you sit on the chairs to watch anything up close

This gets one star simply for the room. The front desk staff however deserve a minus 5 stars. Especially when you plan to lie about being the manager IN FRONT OF THE ACTUAL MANAGER! Not at all impressed when you're told that something that wasn't your fault (and that was acknowledged by the hotel) is something that we have to fix!? Unacceptable and appalling. I plan to take this further.

We have unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. We were promised that we will be getting a room next to our friends room with a full sea view. Unfortunately we didn't get that and we were still asked to pay extra for a room that barely had any view of the bay.
The mattress was extremely uncomfortable both my partner and I woke up with back and neck pain.
Bathtub was not clean unfortunately.
There is definitely a room for improvement.

This used to be one of the best hotels to visit. The key word is used to.
The place is very tired and is in desperate need for an update. They have killed off restaurants located below in what used to be a very bustling food court.
Staff at the hotel are very professional and well trained, but building management needs a complete new way to think about things as what they are doing is clearly not working.

I want to thank Ken deeply from my heart after refunding my full payment of my room when I had to stay overnight in the hospital. Such care and kindness of the staff reflects beautifully on the hotel. I look forward coming back for sure.

Not the greatest experience.
Buffet was decent and staff were friendly (only positives about the stay)
Carpet was filthy, rubbish from the previous people were stored under the bed, shower was shocking (you showered either in super cold or super hot and it trickled), room was dated, spider webs all over the balcony and tv was barely watchable. Could have gotten much better elsewhere for what we paid.

Service was good and the staff were friendly but the actual facilities were a disaster. Firstly, the room was advertised incorrectly - the Accor booking site stated the Superior Spa Room had a seperate lounge area. When we arrived we were told that the price was actually for a single room without a separate lounge area and there had been marketing error. We weren't terribly fussed but were a little disappointed in the misleading website.
The room we got had been recently renovated and looked good initially. However the air-conditioning didn't work, the sliding door to the balcony would not close

We picked this place because of the indoor pool, upon checkin were told it is out for works. No mention of this on website. Our room had 2 towels for 5 people, reception phone went unanswered consistently. 3rd bed not made up., had to go to reception in PJs to ask for bed to be made-up because reception phone not answered again. Children in pool… screaming at 7am. Even the Novotel flag out front is upside down. Update you amenities on your internet booking sites, this is false advertising. Prepare rooms for guests in accordance with their booking, answer your phones and provide some service

We want to say how well we were looked after for the 2 nights there. We had delicious meals with very good service by Popa our waitress, such a happy & delightful lady. What a great place to have our 40th Wedding anniversary. Thank you Novotel !!!
