Negative:
Please beware! Check in was fine however they told me about the offer of a $100 resort credit for guests, only for me to then realise they were trying to sell me into attending a 1.5 hour "seminar" in return for said credit.
Completely unprofessional, the first time I have ever come across such thing as a hotel guest and the reason why I checked out the next day. I felt as though I was just the next victim for their cleverly disguised scam.
-Besides that the rooms are fairly outdated and need some renovations. The tap in my bathroom

Extremely disappointed with the food and presentation!!! We just ordered a few snack items and they came out in this aweful plastic baskets that looks like they were freebies from a cheap and nasty cafe. The crocodile 'karaage' was nothing like karagge in the slightest!? It was battered and deep fried with the tiniest slither of meat. We were eating battered hollows.
My folks were up and staying there and I haven't seen them in a long time. Its not normally their thing to stay in a resort either so they wanted to do something nice. However, simple snack food and nice presentation is beyond this

TLDR, great place to stay.
My partner and I decided to celebrate our honeymoon and his birthday here, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Our waiter Barb and her manager (I forget her name) served us most mornings/lunches and was very accommodating while helping me plan a birthday surprise dinner.
The chef's where accommodating to my requests and understanding, very lovely people. The food available is delicious and you can tell they care for their meals by the way it is cooked and cared for.
With so much to do to entertain yourself in the games room of air

This hotel was excellent! The staff was very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We were able to book trips at the front desk. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The restaurant and bar were conveniently located by the pool. The resort had a rain forest atmosphere. It was gorgeous! The beach was about a 5 minute walk away. There was a bike trail/walkway into town. The town was about a 5 minute drive from the hotel. I highly recommend this place!

A HUGE shout out to Renee & Paul in the restaurant..... they gave such wonderful service & worked so hard. With the minimal staff they had there, they still managed to give the same fast quality service, as if they had full staff on! 🤩🤩 You guys ROCK!!
Thanks also to Jo at the front desk for making our check in experience fast & efficient... we were so tired & exhausted, she made the whole welcoming experience effortless... so professional 🤩

We were hoping to finish off our holiday in a lovely resort in Port Douglas but unfortunately our experience didn't live up to our expectations.
Pros:
- Great staff
- Overall pool area was lovely
Cons:
- Room smelled very mouldy. We mentioned this and staff came to spray the aircon but basically said there is nothing they can do, it's just like that because of the humidity.
- They try to get you to sign up to a seminar and sell you on a membership with Club Wyndham.
- Overall room was very old and needed an update. Cracks in the benchtop in the bathroom, shower leaked, toilet plumbing wasn

This was the second time we've spent our anniversary in Port Douglas Ramada. Being a Wyndham SPC owner, we have been blessed to be able to stay in this place quite easily. Always had good memories here in Port Douglas. The locals in Port Douglas and the Ramada hotel staff are generally friendly and accommodating.

The room was what we've expected just like before. Clean and well maintained. Last time we were in the ground floor but this time we have been assigned on the 3rd floor - which was nice because I had a good view of the trees outside my bedroom. Very relaxing. The room is complete
