Lynette and andrew are absolutley beautiful hosts. They make sure your stay is a comfortable and telaxing experience. Thy go above and beyond and always try to accomodate any requests you might have and always follow through. Andrew is always smiling willing to have a chat. Spacious Mediterranean style appartments, cross the road your on Four Mile Beach turn the corner and your on McCrossan Street for all pubs and restaurants.
Clean and bright and the Lady at reception could not have been friendlier. A few steps that doesn’t effect us . Compact pool area .

We stayed here from 20th-25th Aug 2018 while attending my mum's wedding. Apartment #9 ground floor on the corner. Very large and comfortable! we had everything we needed! Friendly hosts, beautiful pool,… gorgeous gardens and the best location right across the road from 4 Mile Beach. An easy flat walk to local shops, restaurants, supermarket etc. Great wifi, own kitchen and laundry has everything you will need! We'll definitely be back! Thank you Balboa!

We stayed here for one week on early April. Located at the end of the main street in Port Douglas, and just across from Fourmile Beach was perfect for us. We found the apartment was very well presented, large and with a relaxed feel, and very comfortable. The kids loved spending time in the pool here too. Being in a ground floor apartment suited us perfectly, with a great tropical feel looking out on to the surrounding gardens, as well as easy access

We were delighted with our Balboa experience. For a family holiday, the suite was ideal, being spacious, meticulously clean and modern, and superbly located, within easy walking distance of both 4 Mile Beach and the main shopping strip. The swimming pool was great for the children, and BBQ very convenient and clean. The well shaded external eating area was a great alternative to eating inside, and much used. Lynette and Andrew were delightful and attentive hosts. We will return

Delightful, bright and airy apartment and wonderful hospital from the owners Andrew and Lynette, who couldn't have been more helpful in terms of where to go and local tourist spots and Great Barrier reef tours. My 2 sons and I enjoyed every minute. The facilities were first class and the whole ambiance of the place was amazing. Should I return to Port Douglas - which I really want to - I wouldn't stay anywhere else. So peaceful - I slept wonderfully! The cruise on the Lady Douglas, the customer service in the office of the "Flames of the Forst", the coffee shops and ice creams - all wonderful!

The Balboa apartments are very spacious and comfortable. Our apartment was quite private with a very large balcony and a view of the sea. The private bbq on our balcony was great for relaxing family dinners. The apartments are very well equipped with everything you need for self-catering and excellent fans and air-conditioning to keep them at a constant temperature. The pool was kept at a comfortable temperature and great for cooling off. The location of the apartments was perfect, opposite four mile beach and a short stroll to the main shops in Port Douglas.

We've been holidaying in Port Douglas every year since 2000 and it's a great place if you're looking for a busy holiday with lot's of things to do and see or, at the other extreme, just want to chill out (that's us). For the last eight years we've stayed at Balboa Apartments and we highly recommend the place. The apartments are spacious three bedroom units (we usually bring a couple of grand-kids), close to the beach and shops. Andrew and Lynette are great hosts who always make us feel welcome. What great holiday.

For our latest holiday we stayed at Balboa Holiday Apartments and would recommend it to everyone who is looking to stay at Port Douglas. It is located at the quiet end of Macrossan Street less than 1 minute walking distance to Four Mile Beach and also to the many restaurants and supermarkets located within the street.
