Absolutely fantastic place to stay in beautiful Port Douglas. Very warm and welcoming Management team, clean and generously sized accommodation, beautiful pool and facilities. Perfect location being so close to the town centre and tropical surrounds. Thank you Rodney and Glenys, we can’t wait to return soon! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a family friendly place in walking distance to all amenities that Port Douglas has then this would be a great choice
The pool was a great size for lazing or for more energetic water games. It is clean and has BBQ plus ample well kept loungers and tables. The apartment was clean and well serviced. The owners couldn't have been more helpful with local information and advice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We choose Central Plaza because of location, value and that the pool was heated. It’s a great place to stay and we were well looked after by Rodney and Glynis, they were lovely hosts and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The pool was fantastic, lovely big clean pool with sun beds with cushions!! A lot of hotels have hard plastic sunbeds and no cushions for some reason? Of course most hotels don’t heat their pools either and in winter time you definitely need that so it’s a massive plus point. We self cater a lot and the only thing missing was a proper oven. Nevertheless it has everything

Apartment was spacious.
Our apartment was dirty. It had mould in the ensuite, main bedroom and lounge room. We made the manager aware and they were grateful for this.
The main bathroom had no shower door on it. We made the manager aware of this and they put up a shower curtain as I had almost slipped on the wet floor.
For the price, we found the above factors unsatisfactory.
The pool and BBQ area were good and the short walk to town was good.
