Welcome to the Altona Veterinary Clinic with Drs Adam, Dennis, Adeline, Samantha, Ruby and Christine. Our clinic has been a member of the Altona community for over 20 years now! The clinic underwent renovations in 2010 to improve the facilities for your pets and our staff. We now have 2 consultation rooms to minimise waiting times and a separate surgical theatre to improve sterility.

Our waiting area has plenty of room with a side for cats and a side for dogs and a large television to keep you entertained while you wait. We also have a kids corner to keep them entertained while you wait! Our staff are caring and experienced and are continually undergoing training so that they are better able to answer all your questions and provide you with up to date advice.

I can't thank Dr Ruby, Maddie and Michelle enough for their support, advice and care for my tiny Angel today.
Dr Ruby's patience and understanding with this emotional Mumma was just amazing!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Let's hope we can get my little girl well again soon and back home with me and Wally where she belongs xx

Critical: Professionalism
Sadly I got there 5 minutes late for my dogs initial appointment and they cancelled me and ask me to reschedule for tomorrow. Mmmm no thanks I’ll find another vet, unfortunately we were coming from greencross as they had closed down.

We had finished a walk in the park with out Spaniel when he started shaking his head and whimpering. Clearly distressed... it was 5:30-6 when we began calling around vets...5th time lucky. We were so very grateful the team at Altona stayed back to see our boy. Everyone was super friendly and they did a great job removing a grass seed from his ear drum. Thanks again to the team at Altona Veterinary Clinic 😁🙌

Very good service as always. Even with the lockdown restrictions, they take the time to listen all your concerns over the phone before getting your pet from your car for their examination. Afterwards the doctor gives you a verbal detailed report on the health of your pet.

Although I went there and didn't come home with my dog, they were extremely helpful and made sure I was ok with the decision that had to be made. I highly recommend this vet.

We take our cat here and have a wonderful experience every time. She was an abused and very sick kitten when we got her and the vets here really helped us keep her alive and she’s been thriving ever since. Would highly recommend, we still go there even though we live over an hour away!
