Well, they've asked me, Clover, to let you know all about us here at Direct Vet Services and Noisy the parrot (my best friend), is going to give me a helping wing too. So here goes! Dr Karen (our mum) along with the rest of the friendly, caring Direct Vet team who you can learn more about here, looks after many pets just like you and me, every day.
Dr Karen Davies graduated from University of Melbourne 1991 with Honours. Her interest in animals started at a very young age. As a toddler, Karen would take the little snails out of their shells and put them in with the big ones, as in her words "they were too little to leave home". This then stepped up in primary school to rescuing kittens and rearing them from the "crazy cat lady" over the back fence.
At Direct Vet Services we aim to provide you with the information and assistance you need to provide the best of care for your pets. Having furred, feathered and scaly members of our families our staff enjoy caring for your pet no matter what the species. Microchipping involves the placement of a small silicon implant at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades.
We know that having a pet can be a great time in your life, so why not make it all the more enjoyable by providing your pet with a range of merchandise and toys to keep your dog and cat amused and happy. You can choose from our existing range of merchandise that we have in stock or simply ask us to order some stock in for you.

The team at Direct Vet are INCREDIBLE! We've been coming to DVS for 7 years now and highly recommend them. Their passion, dedication and level of service is hard to beat, the facilities are outstanding and they have an amazing network of referring vets. DVS welcome everyone with open arms and we truly feel like family and know that our pets are in great hands! They are the most caring, loving people people. Not only do they give out pets the love & attention that is needed, but also provide us owners with the same care, & attention we also need. Nothing is too much trouble to them. The vets, vet nurses & all the staff are so friendly, & tend our pets with respect, & kindness, that immediately make our pets feel relaxed & comfortable.

I took my cat here for chronic vomiting. They were not very transparent with the overall costs or treatment plan. I had to call for updates as well. My cat stayed overnight and they didn't perform any blood tests either to identify further problems. I appreciate them treating my cat and I do understand that they did what they could. I just wish there was a bit more communication and transparency regarding treatment and cost.

I would recommend Direct Vet Services in a heart beat! I first approached Direct Vet a few years ago with my two bunnies, Bella and Bibi and recently adopted a rescue dog, Frankie. Frankie absolutely loves going to the vet and takes any chance to slip under the reception desk and shower the receptionist with some love :) You can tell their staff… have a deep care for all the pets they care for, the staff are super friendly, professional and supportive; and their prices are very reasonable. I have been to a few different vets in the Point Cook area and now see a life long relationship with

DVS look after not only the fur and feathered animals, but also the scaly and turtle kind. Easy service, and they love seeing the unique pets come through. I took my turtle in during the lockdown period (sorry gang for the late review) and he was in good care as there is not many specalist vets around. Happy all round and prices were no different than if you were to book a Doctors appointment and pay it yourself.
