Each architect-designed, contemporary studio apartment has been prepared with your relaxing vacation in mind. We offer you either an airy balcony apartment with spacious outdoor area or intimate courtyard apartment with private lush garden area. Every apartment has been individually decorated: a sunny, northerly aspect welcomes you into your own self-contained home-away-from-home.
Julians Apartments are situated opposite beautiful Clarks Beach with Cape Byron Lighthouse, the surf breaks of The Pass, Wategos or Tallows Beach, or the Town centre an easy walk or drive away. Whether you are joining us for rest and relaxation, adventure and exercise, or shopping and fine dining, you will leave your vacation satisfied and fulfilled - we have you in mind!
Byron Bay is less than two and a half hours south from Brisbane, less than an hour from the Gold Coast and just twenty five minutes drive north from Ballina Airport. On 28th October 2021 I rang Julians directly to ensure the booking I required was available as we had a specific need.There would be 2 adults a grand mother, mother and a seven month infant for 7 nights.. and
This was verbally confirmed and a deposit was paid. We required room 11.the confirming email did not state the room number but many places do not confirm with a room number.
Fully balance was paid December
On Thursday 13th January I received a text message confirming room12.
As we were holidaying the text was read on Friday 14th and I rang Julians to sort out the problem.

The place has a construction site next door 2 metres from your balcony commenced in may 2021 and told it will be going for at least 12 months. Tradies start 6:45am and finish 5:00pm can't even hear yourself talk, let alone sleep and relax. Told to leave prior and return after 5:00pm. What a joke!. You have been warned wish photos were current and not taken many years ago. Very deceitful should be ashamed julians apartments.

We stayed for a couple of days in one of the beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped apartments. We especially loved the location, just out of the hustle and bustle of town and walking distance to the magic Pass and Wategos. We had to cut our stay short for personal reasons and the owners were so, so kind and lovely to refund us a night. We couldn't recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS ACCOMMODATION. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. BULDING MANAGER (ROSE GARRED) WILL YELL AT YOU AND THEN STORM OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION.
This could be a much longer review and if I could give this negative stars, I would.
- We booked accommodation at Julian's Apartments directly from their website
- We got to the accommodation and there was a construction site next door where there were tradies doing a new build
- There was no mention of the construction anywhere on the property's website nor in the arrival details text message we received
- We received 2 booking confirmation

I havent yet stayed at Julian’s due to postponement of a festival I had booked accomodation for, but the service that their team has provided has been amazing. When the first round of postponement was done, Julian’s called me to let me know that they had reserved a spot for me to move to the new dates - which I thought was really good of them (because I’m sure not all accomodation providers would have done the same). They have been so friendly, clear and professional to deal with and I cant wait to eventually stay with them. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The hosts Rose and Danny were knowledgeable, friendly and most of accommodating. Very clean and comfortable modern apartment. Close to everything. Walking distance to beaches and accessible to sight seeing locations. Thankyou for making our first visit to Byron enjoyable.

Julian's is my new favorite place to stay in Byron :-). It was fabulous being close to the lighthouse - and all the beauty & magic that the coastal walk offers. Kristy was exceptionally welcoming & helpful, and my apartment was elegant, clean and comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful Balinese style, and a gorgeous place to retreat - felt like a home away from home I've already booked my next getaway in Byron at Julian's after such a fabulous experience. Thank you!
