I booked over a month ago for a haircut at this salon knowing when restrictions were likely to ease for my wedding to go ahead. I called numerous times through the week to try to confirm this as I hadn’t received a text confirmation but there was no answer.
I reached out via social media, receiving a response that someone would contact me. After waiting 3 days I was messaged back and informed that there was no record of my appointment. I called numerous other biba salons to try to get a response from st kilda.

I can tend to feel a bit awkward at hairdressers generally, but I was also nervous going in during "covid times". I was so happy to find that I felt super relaxed with my hairdresser, she listened, was chill, professional and also funny. Love my haircut, great price too. They check everyone for vax certs coming in, everyone is wearing a mask and the place feels airy and spacious. Super pleased with my experience today!

I booked an appointment a week ago. When I went in for the appointment today They told me that they cancelled my appointment. They didn't even care to inform me about the cancellation. He is lying on my face that he informed everyone. I could have booked an appointment at another place if they had let me know earlier. Frustrated !!!

This place was a real find! Great service, friendly welcome, drinks on the house, cool, clean, contemporary space - Nic and his team do an awesome job. I've been multiple times, for beard trims, hair colour and cuts and always leave very happy. Very happy to see them open again after all the closures - was welcomed back with open arms and felt very safe with restrictions still in place!

AMAZING!! Wouldn't go anywhere else! All staff were lovely, welcoming and funny. Nick cut, coloured and styled my hair, he also put a treatment in and educated me on my hair health. My hair looks more full of life now then ever! I have full trust in Nick and the Biba staff whom have wowed me every time!! Thanks again Nick!!!

I have been to the salon a few times now and have been quite happy with my hair - sometimes happier than others. The last time i visited i was annoyed because i was charged $15 more than the previous time for a cut and there was an A frame out the front advertising mens cuts at $50 yet i paid more for my 16 year old boys haircut. When i asked why i was paying more than $70 for my haircut, i was told because i had a senior hair stylist - . I don't see anywhere that says i will pay more depending on who cuts it. I didn't challenge them about why i had paid more than the A frame price for my son as

I've been coming to Biba for a while now. I find them to be the best salon around for value, service and quality, by far. Bianca particularly has been doing my hair for a while and always does my colour exactly the way I like it (and I'm fussy!).
The salon itself is really chilled, everyone who works there is awesome plus they serve wine and beer so you really can't argue with that.

I love my new haircut!!! Ben definitely knows how to perfectly cut hair, style it and make it look ace. Ben's been cutting my hair for 1 year now and I like coming back because not only do I trust Ben with my hair, he's also genuinely nice and loves a good chat. Everyone in the salon is always welcoming, I like the rustic and sustainable interior plus the organic Biba hair care range that he's been using on my hair. Keep up the fantastic work guys - you rock!

Really Sorry - it is exceptional that I leave a negative review, but despite the nice friendly junior hairdresser (she was lovely), the salon was less than clean and $90 for a blow dry (and an Alphaparf treatment that retails for 9.95) makes this Balwyn salon more expensive than a senior stylist in South Yarra! Seriously Biba.... When there is so much competition in the vicinity... No wonder it was empty. Even the $20 new client voucher will not entice me to return :-(
