I booked an appointment with them on 18/12/2021 and received the confirmation message. They could not find me on their system when I follow up there for my appointment. While everything is booked out is the week before Christmas, and it is impossible to find another hairdresser! What bothered me the most was that they were not apologetic at all, and in fact, they treated me very poorly, and Cody offered me another time on the 12th of Jan 2022! I will never step into their salon ever again and do not recommend them at all! I have attached my confirmation text to this review FYI!

Had a long overdue hair appointment for a cut and brighten up of the colour. Did think I would have a really short hair cut due to my very fine hair, however Cody convinced me that a good cut of my original shape would give my hair body and make it look less thin and whispy.
Well, he was spot on! With a great head of foils and an amazing cut my hair looks refreshed, thicker and much easier to manage.

Fantastic Salon and Service. Been coming to Fez for over 10years now after a friend referred me. Sarah is so wonderful, as is Cody and all the staff. Very accomodating and they know their stuff. Whilst the salon is run professionally it is also a very warm and friendly place. My daughter wouldn't go anywhere else! Those I have since referred are just as happy as I am. I highly recommend if you are looking for a new hairdresser give Fez Concept Salon a go!

Cody did my cut and colour. It was my first time trying foils and since my hair was brittle from a health condition, he suggested being cautious and sticking close to my natural hair colour (black), with brown highlights. I appreciate that Cody took the time to listen to my concerns and that he ensured my hair was protected from further damage. The cut itself was well executed and I have received many compliments on my subtle yet sophisticated new hair colour. I will be back to try something with a bit more of a wow factor, once I’m recovered.

I was so nervous about cutting my hair for the first time in a Long time! My stylist CODY was unbelievably patient professional and made it such a wonderful experience for me!! I have already booked in my next appointment. He has the knowledge and expertise and he won my confidence the minute I sat down. I’m also a fan of AVEDA and Cody has been using these products for over 14 years! It really helps when your stylist knows the products you use and can educate you better. Cannot recommend Fez highly enough! From my first appointment about a year-and-a-half ago, Cody, Sarah, and the Fez team have always made me feel comfortable and welcome. They've always answered any hair questions I have, no matter how silly I might feel my questions are. They're also frank about whether a colour or style is actually achievable with my hair, and are open about the costs involved. Definitely appreciated when on a student budget!

Cody is amazing! I went in with dry, damaged hair and an unfortunate hair trim...thanks, Covid! :'( he not only gave me a bunch of helpful tips and advice, I walked out with a brand new wash-and-wear haircut that 3 weeks later still looks like it was just styled! He does not hold back, he'll tell you like it is - and that's exactly what I needed :D

Fez provided bridal styling for my daughter’s wedding last Saturday. From the trial to to the wedding morning Sarah, Cody, Serene, Stephanie and Gabby were absolutely amazing! Streamlined organisation, flowed beautifully with 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and 2 mums. Makeup and Hair for everyone was absolutely superb, loved all the beautiful Aveda products and especially appreciated the professional and efficient yet calm, fun and relaxed atmosphere the team provided on a very special day. Thanks you all, such a beautiful result!

Since moving to Melbourne, I feel I've done my fair share of 'hairdresser hopping'. Reluctant to try yet another new hairdresser, I walked in and was warmly greeted by the staff. I felt as though the team listened and ensured that I walked out satisfied... It has almost been a week since I visited the salon and I'm still happy with the results!

This is a big shout out to Cody at Fez Concept Salon in Balwyn. I had been with my old hairdresser for over 10 years but after three bad haircuts in a row I decided it was time to move on. I phoned Fez Concept Salon and Cody answered. He was very friendly and professional on the phone and very up-front about their services and the cost; even giving me a quote over the phone so there would be no surprises.
