Preventative health assessment, checks and advice (including blood pressure and cholesterol checks, diabetes check, pap smears, prostate check, weight and nutritional advice, smoking cessation). Skin cancer check-ups and removals (Dr Charles Tsang and Dr Gavin Chau has special interest in this). Occupational health, including pre-employment examinations, insurance medicals, workplace injuries and Workcover.

Dr Joanne Chionh is a highly regarded specialist endocrine and breast surgeon. An expert in the field of thyroid, parathyroid and breast cancer surgery, she also performs a wide range of general surgical procedures. Dr Chionh has a loverly personality, and great, caring, compassionate bed manners. She can perform operations locally, at Epworth Eastern and Bellbird Private Hospitals.

Infection Control Report

If you have any cold and flu symptoms (such as fever, runny nose, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, a loss of smell or taste), please do not come in for face to face onsult. Please book a telehealth appointment* instead. In addition, for face to face consult we request that all patients wait in the car park where possible.

Fees Report

We bulk bill pensioners, DVA gold card holders, and children under the age of 16 during weekdays before 5:30pm. All other, non-concessional, patients need to pay a fee. In addition, on weekdays after 5:30pm or on Saturday, all patients need to pay a fee, with the exception of children under 16. All private fees must be paid at the time of consultation.

Just a Covid centre now, for medical needs go elsewhere, plus you will probably be abused by reception staff as well.

The doctors I have seen at this practice are very thorough. I particularly like Dr Julie, Dr Anthony and Dr Jason (I don't remember their last names! Because they introduce themselves by first name.) They are very easy to talk to. The are thorough investigators, ordering tests when that has been necessary and following up. Usually don't have to wait too long in the waiting room.

Absolutely no issues with any of the lovely doctors at this practice but after being a regular here for quite some time, I can confirm that the receptionists are always very curt and unpleasant. Don’t take it to heart if you’re a new visitor!!

From my experience at Sheehans Medical, Dr Jason Kuo is a wonderful intelligent compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about his patients to a level that goes beyond most doctors, as he takes the time to listen and helps out as best he can. Terrific experiences. I've always had nice interactions with the reception staff too. To add to this, the pathology centre they have there is great as the nurse I had do my blood test was gentle, kind and knew exactly what she was doing. Professional all around at Sheehans. Thank you.

Excellent medical staff. Cant say the same of the reception staff. One or two very helpful and courteous, but others very rude, disrespectful and short in their interactions. Some review should be done.

Doctors are nice but the receptionists are so rude. Doesn't even bother to interact with customer. Bad customer service skills. Been goin there for more than a year but they still so rude. They need to be replace

Dr Gavin Chau has excellent communication skills and he explains things well. He's also kind and thorough. I would highly recommend the Dr.'s at this practice.
