An EAP is designed to enhance the emotional and psychological wellbeing of your organisation's employees and their immediate family members. The aim of an EAP is to provide preventive and proactive interventions for the early detection, identification and resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect an employee's performance and wellbeing.
NewPsych always welcomes kind, compassionate and innovative clinicians to work alongside our exceptional team. Our practice began almost 30 years ago and has grown into a centre of clinical excellent with a diverse over 35 psychologists and two psychiatrists. NewPsych is such a lovely place to work that we have very low turnover with many of our clinicians with us for over 10 years.
The NSW Mining Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) Conference is an annual conference that brings together key policy experts and leading decision makers in one room to address issues and topics in the areas of health, safety, environment and community. This event was attended by over 600 delegates in 2018, including industry leaders, senior government representatives and HSEC professionals.

Have searched for a psych that I gel with for a couple years now and finally found one at Newpsych. Can’t fault the admin team either, have never had an issue and they’re always eager to help you if you need a last minute appointment. Wait times can be long so book in advance, you can always cancel later but that advice is true of any healthcare practice.

WARNING: major skeletons in this businesses closet. I was paired with an impaired psychologist who proceeded to lie about his impairment and how it drastically negatively affected me. Turned my life on its head and now I'm left to pick up the pieces with no responses to my enquiries about this. An absolute horror story. Do yourself a favour and look to other clinics for help.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After having a referral sent to doctor Anand in May I called up 2 weeks ago and asked where the progress of my referral was and was told that he is very busy and that she would look into it. No response. I called yesterday saying that I was genuinely starting to get desperate. The receptionist was very helpful and said that she would get the doctor to review it today and that they would call me. I ended just getting sent a text saying ”Hi Madeleine, unfortunately Dr Anand is unable to accept your GP referral due to time constraints. Please try Dr Venkatesh

Absolutely would not recommend. It is hard enough to work up the motivation to make that first appointment, which I did, and had 2 sessions with a psych there but trying to get an appointment after was just ridiculous. It has been a month of leaving several messages and emails asking for an appointment and no one gets back to you. Ridiculous!

Perfectly good psychologists, Matthew Jepsen is an exceptional EMDR practitioner.
The foyer and waiting area is fantastic with a calming atmosphere and inspirational TED talks to watch while you wait.
The only down side is the female toilets feel like a park public restroom. Not very inviting at all and need a makeover stat! That's my reason for losing 1 star.

I've had gone to many psychologists in the past & had many bad experiences but New Psych is amazing! the layout & decor of the place is beautiful with the trees & the mini cinema but my psychologist Kate Maher is phenomenal! She's so good at her profession but even so I've been to other psychologists at new psych & theyre just as good too! I recommend New Psych to all my friends

I can not recommend NewPsych enough, after decades of dealing with trauma in the emergency services I was referred to Dr Matthew Jepsen after a family crisis through EAP at my work.
During my first appointment Matthew ascertained that I had some issues from the past playing on my mind, Matthew recommended EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). If I hadn't seen it and been through it for myself I wouldn't have believed it. It has changed my life and I am forever grateful to Matthew and the staff for their work.
If you have been through trauma in your life I highly recommend this
