Services
The majority of clinical psychology services provided at Esteem Psychology are eligible for partial fee rebates through Medicare (contact your GP for a written referral) or your health fund. For more information, contact us, your GP, your health fund, or Medicare Australia. Esteem Psychology also provides services through Workers Compensation and insurance claims.
We also provide clinical supervision for ongoing professional development to Clinical Psychologists and to other health professionals such as social workers, counselors, mental health workers, etc. We offer individual and group supervision for registration purposes or continuing professional development.
We offer a range of information sessions and professional development training workshops for organisational groups. Liz Ditton has undertaken research and extensive training in occupational stress and Burnout management/prevention strategies. During the past 10 years, she has presented brief educational and practical Burnout-management workshops to many teams from a range of professional occupations.
Stephen is a registered clinical psychologist who has 25 years' experience working with a range of young adults and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. He has worked in both public and private settings and spent many years working within the University Counselling Service at The University of Newcastle.
Ailie O'Flaherty is a Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years' experience in clinical practice. Ailie has worked in a wide range of health settings involving adults, adolescents and children. The presenting issues of clients have included depression, anxiety, eating disorders, school refusal, sexual identity issues, behavioural disorders, trauma, workplace stress and relationship issues.
