This charming historic Hotel now turned in Airbnb has much to offer. A scenic town with charm and most friendly locals. The room has a log cabin feel and was clean. A nice touch are coffee pods, water and a few snack item upon arrival. Booking and check out was super easy. The cafe has the best coffee around. The location is minutes to one of the most scenic mountain areas you will find. We well come back for sure.

The food!!!!!!!!! Eat here. I had corned beef hash with eggs and it was unlike any other I have ever had. This was NOT the typical greasy, hangover hash from your 20's. The guy cooking is an artist and CARES about what he cooks (which is evident by the taste of the food)The pastries I bought were to take home. If I had known how absolutely delicious they were, they would have been consumed on the spot; no matter my stuffed tummy! You will not be disappointed!!!!! Oh, and they have great coffee, too!

My husband and I love this place. The food is incredible. The couple that runs the place are the sweetest people. We stop every time we head that direction. Great coffee too.

Stopped in for brunch after a camping weekend. Staff were wonderful. Food was amazing!! Loved the seasonal French toast, spicy and sweet. My husband got his favorite breakfast burrito ever. Booking a weekend this winter mostly just to eat (and ski too).

I stayed in the cafe all morning waiting out an August snow storm in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The young couple who run the Hotel/Cafe are very friendly and I enjoyed loitering for hours in their quaint refuge. The food was amazing, fresh, classy, made by a real pro trained under several Michelin Star chefs on the West Coast. The dining area and really the whole place is small, with only 5 tables so don’t expect to roll in with a giant group, and keep in mind, it’s a two person operation. Assuming it was over 40 degrees, there’s also a nice big porch with a bunch of tables. I will go out

Best breakfast burrito ever! Crispy hash browns inside with a fantastic green sauce over the top. It’s going to serve as breakfast and lunch since it’s so huge. The latte was top notch too and all packaging for leftovers was green- no plastic!
The proprietor was charming and we hope to stay here when we return to the Snowy Range! Even if the rooms are all booked, we will dine here every chance we get!
