We stayed at a powered site from the 1st of Jan to the 8th of Jan.
Owner: Mike is very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. He helped direct us around, and recommended places for us to go, not just in Mackay, but as we were traveling up to Townsville. This has been very helpful, so helpful in fact we even bought his book “The essential guide to fun travel on a budget - Australia Free 4” which has been great!
Toilets: The female bathroom blocks have two toilets and two showers. They are cleaned daily by the friendly staff. The facility is quite new and the showers are very wide which is nice

Thank you Magic Mike for making us feel like one of the family and finding us aircon accommodation on such short notice when we couldn’t handle the heat in the work van. The rates are very affordable and campsites are very spacious. All accommodation we saw or stayed in was clean and enjoyable. Ammenities were spotless and although I didn’t get a chance to throw a lure in the river, I will be when we come back. Your expert knowledge of tourist information and the best places to book is amazing. We miss you guys already and would come back to visit asap just for the laughs and good times. Your

I have been to Mycow Accommodation 3 or 4 times for fairly long stretches in my van. It is always like coming home as Mike and his crew always remember you. Facilities are clean and park get togethers are frequent and fun. The park is close to all facilities and tourist spots in Mackay and site fees are fair.
I highly recommend it.

Can highly recommend this park. Amenities were kept tidy and smelling clean and the park nice and clean. The area around the river was excellent with supplied tables and chairs and fishing rod holders for guests to use. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. If you need any advice on travels he is certainly the go to guy. An app he developed "AustraliaFree" is certainly worth the download. Price was great, don't drive past this place it's worth the stay.
