Myotherapy (muscular therapy) is the assessment of muscular injury and dysfunction. Myotherapy treatments decrease pain and improve physical mobility and ability through improved muscular strength and flexibility, and correct body function. Everyday activity such as prolonged sitting, bending, lifting and repetitive movements can misalign your back, and cause other areas such as your neck and shoulders to be inflamed.
Our patients seek myotherapy to treat a particular ailment, and complete their treatment as a more energetic, stronger and happier person. In your initial consultation we strive to gain an understanding of relevant lifestyle factors which may have contributed to your discomfort, including occupational, recreational such as activities, diet and past injuries.

I have fibromyalgia and found that of all the treatments I’ve had over two decades, myo is by far the most effective and with long-lasting effects. Mo has been treating me for months. He’s amazing! I’ve been to my treatments feeling awful-fibro flare or, in the case of today, experiencing severe headaches and neck pain. I come out feeling amazing and sleep so well. Mo’s treatments are individually tailored, thorough and he works at an intuitively deep level. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Having recently experienced severe neck pain a friend recommended I try myotherapy. I have never had any form of physical therapy before and was unsure what to expect. I saw Lloyd at Elite Myotherapy and was so impressed by his knowledge, thorough assessment and most importantly ability to make me feel at ease. The reduced levels of pain and increased movement I was able to achieve almost immediately was such a huge relief. Thank you!

I have been getting treated by Edgar for a Calf injury, Edgar’s knowledge is second to none, he comes across very professional, but also really friendly and very easy to talk to, he explains his treatments very… thoroughly so it is clear what he is doing. Highly recommended for anyone who is experiencing any pain regardless if it is a sporting injury or just a sore neck.

I visited Elite Myotherapy approximately 16 months ago after I injured my back. I was unable to stand long enough to make toast. Caitlin at Elite is brilliant. I cannot recommend her enough. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable on multiple levels. Thanks to Caitlin I am back teaching my multiple dance fitness classes. I am so grateful for all her skills. The staff there are wonderful and friendly. I look forward to my next session where my aches are relieved.
