Services
WE ARE STILL OPEN - veterinary clinics are classed as an essential service so we are available to see all your small and large animals. Our dedicated and compassionate team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses are able to provide wonderful care to your pets at both our clinics.

We are a mixed animal clinic which means we can provide veterinary attention to all your various sized pets from your rabbits, dogs, cats to your sheep, goats, cows and horses.North Warrandyte Veterinary Clinic - Our purpose built clinic is located opposite the gorgeous Yarra River in Warrandyte.
At the Yarrambat and North Warrandyte Veterinary Hospitals we have plenty to offer the discerning pet owner, including an emergency service operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you have an animal that needs urgent attention outside business hours, please ring 9436 1399 to speak with our "on call" vet.
Both of our hospitals are equipped to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging to assess your animals on site. Our clinics have several specialised ultrasound machines able to harmlessly visualise structures in both large and small animals. These machines can assess organs and structures in the abdomen, aid in pregnancy diagnosis of cows, horses and pets, diagnose tendon issues in horses, or assess for fluid in the chest or abdomen.
Both of our clinics are equipped with laboratory equipment to run tests on site. Our in-house pathology units are capable of processing blood samples within half an hour - this can be crucial in some emergency situation such as in the diagnosis of snake envenomation when a rapid result can be life saving.
We are fortunate to have Dr. Rob Hilton BVSc(Hons) MACVs(Canine Medicine)CertVD MRCVs working at our Yarrambat clinic. Dr Rob Hilton is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate Holder in Veterinary Dermatology and has years of clinical experience. He receives referral work from other clinics as well as consulting for our own clients that are battling challenging skin cases in their pets.

There is a real sense of care here not one of those in it for the money vets. The vets here care for the owners as much as the pets and are dignified when they need to be. I live in Leeds and wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else even though there is a bit of a journey involved.

Fantastic care, advice and reassurance delivered by Jenny and Pawel up until I needed to consider euthanasia, where they were both very supportive.
I can't recommend this vets enough, everyone that provided my dog with care did it with compassion and professionalism.

After conversations with the vets here we specifically chose a Tuesday afternoon for our beloved dog to be put to sleep. It later became evident that the collection for cremation had occurred earlier that day and our pet had spent a week in a closed freezer before being taken for cremation.
We had made plans to avoid this very issue and the idea of her laying in a freezer for a full week has left us both angry and distraught.

I have only recently joined this vetenary practice following a very bad experience with my previous vet, I have found the whole team to be friendly and yet professional and most importantly knowledgeable, they treat my cats with the upmost attention and offer a very caring approach, all in all very good service.
