Services
We emphasise the enjoyment of dancing & singing at our End of Year Concerts rather than winning and losing at weekly competitions. As corny as this may sound 'Shine Dance Studio' was first scribbled on a serviette in Venice, Italy, 2003.
Whilst eating a mandatory plate of pasta and pondering the next chapter of their lives together, Vanessa and Adrian struck up the framework for what was to become their very own Performing Arts school this side of the equator!

When you learn to dance and sing at Shine you'll develop a self-confidence that is not only useful on stage, but of course in everyday life. Shine's teachers and staff offer support, encouragement and motivation to get the most out of your lessons. The Mini Class (2-3yo) is a 30 minute lesson introducing toddlers to the wonderful world of song and dance.

My 5yo daughter really enjoyed her first year of dance, even despite the covid disruptions. Shine did an amazing job of updating us all regularly when the numerous lockdowns came into force, they quickly adapted and zoom classes meant the students could continue with some form of dance rather than have months and months of nothing. A great dance studio for any budding young dancer.

As a current student at Shine, i could not speak any more highly about the studio.
Shine is not like every dance school. Not only are Vanessa, Adrian and all the staff a hard working and dedicated, but their hardwork passion and commitment shows and reflects in every student each and every year. Their inclusiveness has made the studio and people there like a second family to me.
The teachers at Shine have increased my confidence, not only in dance but everyday life, along with creating life long friendships and memories.
I could not recommend this studio more highly.

My daughter loves attending Shine, last night was our 2nd concert and it was fabulous. Obviously the teachers have worked hard to put it all together - choreography, costumes, lighting etc. I'm sure the list is endless - particularly all the back end work that goes on that parents don't see. Last night's dances and timing of each performance was seamless and very enjoyable. The class session times, rehearsals, photos and concerts all amazingly run ON TIME. My 2 girls have been at Shine for 12 and 9 years and they both love it. The self confidence they have both developed from their dancing is wonderful.
The organisation and coordination of the end of year concerts is wonderful and really does make it as easy as possible for parents.
The main reason my family loves Shine is the wonderful culture that the owners have built up over the years. The students truly support and help each other and are proud of each other's accomplishments.

I have been sending my daughters to Shine Dance Studio for 6 years, since they were 3 years old. They have loved every minute of it - learning ballet, jazz, tap and singing. They especially love their end of year concerts which are always colourful, entertaining and fun - and don't break the budget! The studio has a wonderful atmosphere whereby you can see the kids are keen and eager to learn but having fun at the same time. I would highly recommend Shine Dance Studio.

My 6 & 7 year old girls have been attending Shine Dance Studio for the last year and they absolutely love it. We looked into a few dance schools around the area but decided with Shine because of its non-competitive nature. I wanted my girls to enjoy dancing and build their confidence and not get caught up in the pressure of gradings & competition so Shine was perfect. Once shy & reserved, my girls are now happy to bust their moves at family gatherings or wherever they get the chance! Thanks Shine for giving them this confidence.
