At Melbourne Acrobatic and Dance Studio we pride ourselves on delivering quality Dance Education through nurturing and passionate teaching. Our students often refer to our Studio as the 'MAD Family, which is exactly the kind of community atmosphere we endeavour to create. 9 years ago I was lucky enough to find Melbourne Acrobatic and Dance Studio and I haven't been able to stop dancing ever since.
Never in a million years could I have predicted that I would find such a loving, passionate and positive environment like MAD studios. It is undeniable how much blood, sweat and tears go into every dance, performance and costume here at MAD. Not to mention the amazing faculty who have taught me so many valuable lessons not just in dance but in life.

Services
In 2010 Melbourne Acrobatic and Dance Studio opened its doors with a dream of providing quality dance training in a positive learning environment. We have continued to grow each year and available classes now include Pre-school classes, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre and Contemporary.
Students can participate in any classes including Exam classes. Examininations are not compulsory to participate and will be offered if the students are ready at the discretion of the Principal. Learn things such as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings, aerial cartwheels and backflips.
We are proud to offer exams with the Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D) for Ballet and Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (C.S.T.D.) for Tap. Exams are a great way to set goals and achieve results and a better understanding of correct and safe technique, which we pride ourselves upon. I had the absolute pleasure of teaching for this studio. As soon as you step into the building, you're welcomed by an uplifting and positive atmosphere. The children, parents and other teachers are humble and inclusive, which is a testament to the studio owner, Natalie Bale. Natalie is a gentle, kind-hearted and encouraging person who is highly qualified and an expert in her field. The studio has a strong focus on safe dance practice, dance technique, equality, and is a safe space for children to learn. For any parents and students looking for a dance studio, I couldn't recommend this one highly

A very nurturing environment to learn in with a lot of friendly people. The acro program has just reached a new level and deserves a mention as it is fun and easy to learn tricks in. Ballet at this school always been my highlight as the dance school offers an exstensive RAD program. It's an amazing school to learn at.

My daughter has been dancing at MAD for five years now (since she was two) and it is a wonderful dance school. Miss Natalie (Principal) is warm, welcoming and encouraging, with amazing skills, offering continuous improvement to her students. It is a very inclusive school, and the camaraderie is evident for all to see. The studio space is wonderful and custom built for dance. I couldn't recommend MAD more highly.

What a beautiful environment for my daughter to learn within. She has been there for the past two years, since she was 2yo, and was cared for with such a nurturing touch by Miss Natalie. She looks forward to her dance classes every week and the annual concerts are incredible. There’s a lovely community within the school too, with the “big girls” looking after the “little girls” and a really friendly parent network. Can’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else! 💕

MAD Studios is a wonderful,fun and nurturing environment for students of all ages to learn a range of dance styles. My two daughters currently learn Tiny Tots and Baby Ballet from Miss Natalie and they can't wait for their lessons each week!! What a great teacher and a great school. Highly recommend MAD!!!
