You are thinking about learning to dance, but you now want to know how it all works. The first thing that is probably good to know about is the level system that has been established in partner dance. This system has been around for quite a while, but it also evolves. Proficiency: This level focuses on a collection common dances (8 in total) and covers the basics of each.
There are a number of reason to learn dance. These range from the obvious such as having a hobby and something fun to do to serious health benefits. The best thing about the health benefits of dance is that they cover both the physical and mental aspects of health. Dance requires that you focus on the music, your partner, your movement and the others on the dance floor.
How do you know Destine Dance is best? There are many dance studios around and all of them staffed by teachers skilled and trained in ballroom dance (and other styles). We understand that so it is fair for you to ask why you should learn at Destine Dance, and not another dance studio. Make sure you read to the end about how other organisations have come to us because of our skills.
Clint has been dancing for over a decade. Before Destine Dance he was an academic and before that a professional engineer. While a dance student, he researched techniques to build the attributes of a dance to accelerate his development. This culminated in a collection of ideas on how to become a great dancer fast.

We did the wedding package with Gigi. She was lovely and fun who works well with any proficiency level. Our first dance choreography was amazing and professional. Gigi also taught us about the emotional importance of a first dance as an expression of love more than a just a dance choreography. Our family and friends were wowed in our wedding because it was simply beautiful. Thank you so much destine dance for making our First dance a memorable one :)

I’ve danced at a number of studios and whilst some of them are pretty good, I’ve found Destine to be outstanding. All four of the instructors genuinely are fantastic teachers but more importantly, just wonderful and patient people to learn from. Love Anita, Gigi , Kevin and Clint.
The other thing that I have noticed is that in my experience good dancers don’t always make the best teachers. Quite often good dancers and people who have been dancing for years, forget how difficult and how overwhelming it can be for people like myself that are new to dancing. To me that is what also sets Destine

Very friendly and fun classes. Good instructor to client ratios, individual attention and excellent instruction help you learn a lot. We absolutely adored our wedding dance lessons with Kim! She is a breath of fresh air and kind, caring and patient - all qualities you need when you have two students with four left feet (like in our case!) She was happy to work at our own pace and spent a lot of her own time coming up with moves and sending them to us to practice in our spare time. It made it even easier for us as she came to our home and the end result was a wedding dance that we were proud of (and gave our guests a nice surprise)! Thank you Kim.

We had a series of dance lessons under the expert guidance of Anita in the lead up to our wedding. We had no prior dance experience but Anita was professional, patient, encouraging and clear in her instructions. She was fabulous at getting us to a point where we were really proud of what we had achieved and excited to dance at our wedding. Anita also held our last lesson with us at our wedding venue which was a fantastic way of getting comfortable in the space we would be dancing in. John and I highly recommend Anita, Clint and Destine Dance to anyone looking to pick up some skills in the lead

Clint is an amazing dance instructor. He helped us create our first dance for our wedding and it was such a hit! The lessons were so much fun and we loved learning our first dance. Clint taught us in a way that we were able to improvise if we needed to and could do the dance in any space. I highly recommend learning your first dance with Clint :)

We started going to Destine Dance at the beginning of 2020 to enjoy a couple activity. During lockdown we got engaged and were excited to have our bridal dance choreographed. Anita was fantastic!! She really understood our personalities and made our dance us. We explored a variety of different dance styles. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Anita!! Thanks :)
