Services
Not only do we want to care for your pet, we take our time to get to know you and your pet on a more personal level. We have found in the past that dogs and cats tend to be more relaxed with a routine approach of the same vet, same consult room each time. It makes it easier for us to give you great service, by knowing your pet well.
Dr Jana has felt an affinity with pets all her life and a dream came true when she was accepted into the veterinary degree in 1988. Upon graduating, she gained her first work placement in a small rural community in WA, where she saw an extremely varied and interesting case load. Here she developed a passion for surgery, inspired by her boss, who was an experienced orthopaedic veterinary surgeon and was very eager to share his knowledge.
Segregated cat and dog wards and consult rooms to make it a relaxing experience for all, especially our feline friends. Diagnostic services with in-house lab including pathology, digital radiology and ultrasonography. Sophisticated anaesthesia monitoring with individually tailored anaesthetic regimes to cater for routine to higher risk patients (young animals, seniors, heart patients, pregnancies).
Puppy Preschool should be seen as important to your puppy's long-term health as vaccinations and good nutrition, as it offers you the chance to positively influence how your puppy will interact with other dogs and people for the rest of its life. Many pet owners are under the impression that if they have prior experience with puppies or have a house full of other dogs that Puppy Preschool is not necessary for their puppy.
You've been wanting a pup for a long time or the kids have been begging you for a puppy for years. You've been able to put them off with a rabbit or even a cat. But this time, only something from the canine family will do. Dogs need to suit your personality, your lifestyle, your housing situation and your family in general.

Curtin veterinary clinic is excellent. The staff and veterinarian's clearly live animals and they not only are extremely professional, personable and prompt. They understand that creating an environment that is not only comfortable for clients, but more importantly...their patients. Last, but not least, their fees aren't cheep, but pets are family and therfore prompt, professional, courteous service is essential. All of which is provided with a friendly smile.
I wouldn't take my pet anywhere else....

Very happy to have Dr Jade looking after our feline boys. She is very skilled with cats and made our visit stress free. The designated cat consult room was great idea too, no doggy scent to scare our cats.
Thank you Jade!!

The veterinarian was extremely kind and empathetic, and provided my partner and I compassion and reassurance in a difficult time.
We also received a very sweet card a few days later which was very thoughtful. Thank you for your hard work.

If I lived nearby I’d take my dogs all the time. The receptionists are knowledgeable and helpful, the vets are more knowledgeable than any I’ve ever met, the seperate room set up for cats and dogs is great. I love that there is a grassy outdoor we can wait at. They also support ARF, so these vets have my vote!

We love these guys. They have considered so many details in the planning of their surgery. All our pets feel very safe and calm here, including a very disgruntled older cat (former rescue) who we had given up on ever taking to the vet again. Our dog did the puppy school program and improved greatly, for a dachshund 😂

One of the few clinics in Canberra that segregate cats and dogs. My cat loves it and was the most relaxed she's ever been. Vets are very caring and knowledgable and the staff are always friendly. Great place to take your pets
