I love this place because of the amiable atmosphere and reasonable prices. I found there the barber of my dream - she almost does not speak and never asks personal questions as most barbers do.
"Where do you live?"
"Is your husband Swedish?"
"Where are you from?"
"Do you have kids?"
After I answered all those uncomfortable questions for years, I am so happy that now I can experience cozy silence and have a rest while the barber of my dream cuts my hair and sometimes smiles with a delicate and shy smile when our eyes meet :)))

Rang before going to the salon- quoted $90 for a cut and $200 for 1/2 foils. Drive into the city and pay for parking, and was told it was $140 for a cut. After stating that I was quoted $90, I was told that… she was some type of senior hairdresser and that it was $140, and $410 for foils. I said that I wasn't going to pay that much and I would give it a miss- was called a "Karen" by the hairdresser. I wonder if she would have called a younger woman "Karen"- very ageist. How very disgraceful that this salon treats people in such an offensive way. Rang and told them about my experience, but

I have been going to this place for 20 years and I would never swap place this is the beat hair place you can go to in Stockholm.
I have tried a few other places when I was unable to find a apointment that suited my time and nothing can compare to toni & guy, you can book difrent skilllevels of the hairdressers to suite your need and price.

Horrible horrible highlights. I did arrive late to the appointment and the girl said she couldn't do the full hair- OK- but the result was that my hair was blonde in the back and brunette in the front?!?! Not a good job at all. I had to go to another hairdresser to get it fixed (and spent twice the amount).Overall not a good customer experience. You'd better go to a smaller hairdresser where they listen and really make sure to understand your needs. Never again. Oh, and they DON'T use masks (I've seen other hairdressers are very disciplined with this).

Went in for a haircut on Saturday. You can imagine how thrilled I was walking out with $128 less in my wallet, thinned out hair (I asked for a trim, not to hack in and thin out my ends) and the flattest and static blow dry of my life (which I had actually asked her NOT to blow dry - but she said she "had to" so she can see the cut.) I will never go to another Toni & Guy salon and will be blogging my experience everywhere to help save other people from going through a similar experience.

Book a blow dry with waves, requested soft waves with brushes. Instead I was told GHD curls would be better as they would hold longer. I didn’t want GHD curls but was given no choice. The GHD curls ended up… looking like goldilocks curls, it has damaged/dried out my hair and I look ridiculous. It also didn’t hold and by the next day looked like dry straw. In the 5 years I’ve been getting blow drys my hair has never looked and felt this bad. I emailed the salon to advise of my disappointment and to request a full refund as I didn’t get the service I paid for. I haven

Being a touring musician is difficult, especially when you have massive hair! I only had one day in Sydney to prepare for a performance, I woke up and called the salon and was given an appointment right away. Paul, my hairstylist was fantastic. He was patient pleasant and gave me a few tips on how to help with my frizzy locks! And of course his blow dry and style were wonderful.

Sarah at the Paddington salon is so lovely. She took her time talking to me to find out how I wanted my hair to look and advised me what would suit my face. I got the impression that if she thought the cut I was after wouldn't suit me, she probably would have advised me to go for a more suitable style - which is a great quality in a stylist. Sarah… then spent some time studying my hair before washing it. She cut my shoulder length hair with effortless precision into an amazing, not-too-short pixie cut which has given my fine dead-straight hair so much texture. The Label M product makes styling

I was at a Style Director yesterday (800 SEK for the hair cut). And I must say, she was as a person not very friendly. But the worst part is, there is not much left of my hair. She made it so much thinner in the end, it’s horrible!! The technique she used is outdated. A modern haircut does not look like this!!
Yes, I have heavy hair. But making it thin like that at the tip of the hair only is not looking good at all! The form of the hair is now thick on top and in the middle and super thin at the end. It’s not a modern hair cut. Sorry, but next time better go to the store manager again, or

I got a hair cut gift card for my birthday to be used here. I booked a stylist. Very disappointing, he was arrogant and looked angry. Specially he was very rough when handling my hair (pulling very hard and hitting the brush against my scalp roughly which was painful), simply brutal. The whole experience was very stressing, on top of this, I had to use my friend's gift card for this terrible service! I don't recommend this place to anyone and certainly will not come back. I'm giving one star because there is not an option to give none.

I was very satisfied with concord tony & guy sydney branch and have a loyalty card. Now As I not got appointment from this branch I went today to Toni & Guy leichhardt sydney branch. the lady on counter said me… that they will not accept my loyalty card as it was given by other branch. So can you please let me know if loyalty card only specific for a branch who issued it? of not then please take actions agains Toni & Guy Leichhardt branch as they are taking more money for each services and not accepted my loyalty card.

They have cancelled appointments last minute not once but twice. I booked both appointments weeks in advance. And they cancel the day before or day of. There is nothing they even try to do to accommodate after. It’s so rude and unprofessional. The one time I managed to keep an appointment with them was good. But if you can help it, go somewhere else.

This is the best haircut I've ever had. I am amazed.
I have only ever been to your run of the mill hairdressers. You know the ones who shove you in a chair, choke you with an apron, spray you with a gallon of water, chop at your hair and throw you out on the street.
Not here.
Here I felt like a Royal.
They took my coat and bag, dressed me (actually dressed me) in an apron and did magic on my hair.
My hairdressers name was Paul.
He took me through everything while he cut and styled my hair. He told me how to style my new messy concave bob and whilst I will NEVER be able to

I hardly ever give a negative review, but this product is the worst. First off the conditioner lid was not perverted property, so imagine stumbling around in the shower trying to open it. I ended up just screwing the top off. No big deal but an annoyance.
The product itself is completely substandard. Left my hair looking that I had not bathed for… a week. Honestly, I thought picking up a salon quality product would deliver better.
Back to the hairdressers to pick up some quality shampoo and conditioner, because your product it's like a glorifed washing detergent.

I tried to book an appointment for Saturday at the Bondi beach store. As I was booking I got asked to leave a $50 deposit (out of the $75 that I would have to pay for a blow dry) I found this a little unusual, then I got asked to leave the deposit in cash which I don't have on me but did have a card. It is quite strange to have to pay more than… three quarter of the final fee as a deposit. Anyway when I offer to pay it wasn't possible to leave the deposit by card. The girls at the counter couldn't be bothered and clearly was not keen to help. It was the worst and rudest customer service

This is a fairly dull toni and guy. I would suggest it as a back up, or for the odd pop in if you need a touch up, but you need to be REALLY specific with what you want.

Cuts can tend to be fairly hit and miss and the stylists don't always listen to what you want. They use to have a guy working there years ago called Poppy who did brilliant and stylish cuts, but I don't know where he's gone. Nancy (style director) gives pretty good cuts and the odd great cut, but they usually need a few days to settle in. Recently I went all out and saw the Art Director and I'm less than impressed

Hats Off!! to Toni and Guy this is a global chain of hair salons with a very bold look. They dare to be edgy and question conventions, but not in the underground, for the mainstream. They have a great selection of products for hair care and all their hair stylists go through an amazing training regime. The shop in World Square is clean and bright. The stylist who cut my hair was really friendly, it was a big deal for me, as I was cutting a fringe again for the first time in 5 years. But she did a great job and I left feeling a million bucks. The atmosphere is funky and there is always groovy music
