David Murry Salon was born over a decade ago when Creative Director David Murry first saw the need for a hair studio in Brisbane where people could enjoy a premium salon experience in a fashionable, cultured and ego free environment. From the moment you step inside, you'll find yourself on a customised sensory journey, where every detail has been created for an enriched experience.
All prices include a complimentary arrival pressure point massage, shampoo and conditioning head massage. All prices are based on short hair, and reflect the colour component of your service only. Please request a cost estimate from your stylist during the in-depth consultation process, if required.
The best TransLink Route is the 199 Route. Disembark at Stop 3 (Melbourne Street and Cordelia Street), and head up Cordelia Street towards the Brisbane River. Turn right at the intersection of Cordelia and Peel Street. You will now find yourself at the intersection of Peel and Merivale Street. The salon in situated on the Merivale Street side in the South Central Apartments building.

I had my first ever appointment at David Murray Hair Salon and I could not give these guys enough credit for the service I received and the overall outcome of my hair. Jamie was so welcoming, she was so friendly and kind and always made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire appointment. She exceeded my expectations with my hair and I cannot thank her enough. She was such a bubbly person and just being around her made such a huge difference. I've been a customer since this salon opened and I always walk out looking amazing, which is extra impressive considering I live well outside of Brisbane and can't get my hair cut as often as I'd like, and I refuse to have it cut anywhere else. Today Scott worked his magic yet again, and because it was too hard to decide on just one of the three, I also walked out with two LAD candles that smell absolutely amazing. 100% recommend them if you want your house to smell divine. I love that even though I only get there a few times a year at best, I still feel I'm treated as a valuable customer.

I went short from almost waist length hair! Emma did an excellent job with the hair cut and was overall very knowledgeable of what would work well with my type of hair. Post that, Erin did a cezanne treatment which is perfect for frizzy hair like mine. I have had it done earlier and have loved it all through. It gives my hair a soft feel and a smooth look but not make it extreme straight!
