We are a locally owned and family operated podiatry practice, synonymous with trusted, quality podiatry care and services. Independent, longstanding and modern, we combine skills, knowledge and experience to provide specialised foot and lower limb health care. In keeping with current best practices we use modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment to provide evidence-based podiatric care.
Radial Shockwave Therapy (rESWT) is a relatively new treatment modality used to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain. We are committed to providing evidence-based podiatric care, which is why we have invested in Radial Shockwave Therapy (rESWT). Shockwave therapy is recommended for resistant soft tissue injuries that do not respond to conservative treatment (ice, heat, stretching, strengthening, massage, supportive footwear, orthotics etc).

Rob graduated from QUT with Honours in Podiatry and a clinical award. He worked in Northern NSW before he and his wife Natalie purchased Barry Hawes and Associates in 2011. Rob has a broad interest in all areas of podiatry, but particular interests in diabetic care, geriatric podiatry, biomechanics and orthotic technology.
We are now providing dry needling techniques to help you manage your lower limb and foot pain. Dry needling is a medically based form of acupuncture that is used to manage injuries and their symptoms by targeting the nervous system at localised myofascial trigger points. When professionally administered, dry needling can release tension in the deepest muscles that massage is unable to reach.
Joint mobilisation is a technique your podiatrist may use to restore the small, involuntary movements that assist joints to perform at their optimum. It can be done during your consult and involves bringing joints into better alignment with instant pressure or with back-and-forth oscillation of the joint in order to restore motion.
What can a podiatrist do for me? Podiatrists are health professionals trained to deal exclusively with the foot and lower limb. The feet are a very complex part of the body, and allow you to perform vital functions and activities, so they should not be neglected. If you have pain or problems with your feet or legs, a Podiatrist is the best health professional to assist you.

Rob is such a lovely person. Caring kind and genuinely cares about you and your feet. He was just so lovely while helping me find a solution to my pain. I've been getting better every moment since he found a solution to my problem feet. I can't emphasise enough that he really does care and won't stop til he finds a solution

I highly recommend Danielle. She was amazing with my 7 year old and the issue he had. In his own words from here, "She was AWESOME! She made me feel safe and told me what she was doing so I understood. She is the best podiatrist in the world! Thank you thank you!!"
Danielle and Rob were both so nice. My sons issue is pretty much gone. Again, thank you. :)
