The Foundry Gym is an exclusive, family-owned gym situated in Hallam, Victoria. Being an Official Hammer Strength Training Centre (out of only a handful in the State of Victoria), we are accredited for using only the best equipment for our members. It is a No-Nonsense warehouse style gym (money spent on equipment rather than making the place look pretty), with a focus on old-school weight training.
Our primary function is to provide our members with a weight training facility at a low cost, and cut out unused and unnecessary BS. You won't find tanning beds, pilates / aerobics classes, or other gimmicky things at our gym. We take our members back to the days where people went to the gym to build their bodies; and let the iron do the talking.

Services
We like to think of ourselves as an old-school gym at heart. Think 'Golds' back in the Arnold and Franco days. We believe free-weight training and old school lifting is the meat and potatoes of bodybuilding. A small boutique warehouse-style gym, where not every Tom, Dick and Harry can train. We do not do Casual sessions, as we prefer our gym to be a Members-Only environment, where you don't need to lock up your belongings.

Honestly, the friendliest community (I go early in the AM), the best music and the most amazing equipment! I’ve been going to The Foundry Wolverhampton since it opened and have never looked back since. I don’t think I could really feel I’ve had a good hard workout session at your average leisure gyms anymore.

This gym is like a hidden gem, literally. I have been coming here for quite a while now and the only downfall is some of the staff who don’t seem to do anything!!!! making the next visit 2 the gym less appealing. By looking at other reviews it’s pretty clear I’m not the only one with these views. Overall it’s one of the best gyms in the midlands so credit to the owner!

Fantastic gym and atmosphere for bodybuilding, with a large variety of equipment.
Only things that seem to let it down are the men’s changing rooms/toilets which are honestly awful, small and rarely cleaned.
Rules of etiquette (which are scattered all over the gym) don’t seem to actually get enforced so people just leave bars/leg machines stacked with loads of weight and leave the dumbbells any which way.

Pros: Large variety of equipment.
Good music.
A lot of staff members.
Owner seems friendly.
Good for weight lifting and a different atmosphere to a commercial gym.
Cons: Equipment is left all over the place and dumbbells are usually in the wrong place.
Music, whilst good, is usually just the same playlists over and over again.
Staff all seem to be young kids who don't really do anything and make you feel unwelcome. If they were utilised more, equipment would be more organised and the toilets would be stocked up.

Amazing gym in Hallam! They have all the equipment you need to achieve anything you want. The staff are very friendly and the people are very friendly too. Everyone always gets along with each other and helps… one another whether its with spotting, getting the right technique or with general advice. Highly recommend this gym and the price no one else will beat! Easily 10/10!

Best gym around. Small but has everything, and the crowd is just the right mix. No overly arrogant meatheads, or rude people. Price is about the lowest you can get, facilities are decent, equipment is excellent. Energy-filled atmosphere. Posted a review when i joined, but it got deleted for some reason?
