I guess you could describe me as a bit of an explorer; I've one of those minds that loves to learn new things! Over the years, I've specialised in a number of areas (Personal training, yoga, nia, meditation, nutrition, pilates, nursing, art/sculpting) and I now get to blend the learnings from all these disciplines into my practice and teaching as a 'movement therapist'.

Vitalitymoves yoga likes to bend yoga to suit your body, not the other way round. Personal training will provide you with the opportunity to get fit and make it a pleasure. Michelle has developed a program to enable people to lose weight and/or gain fitness. This well thought out system improves health, fitness and makes sustainable lifestyle changes possible. If weight loss is part of your fitness goal, Michelle has a complete nutrition support system for you to use.
Pilates is a system of exercise that is flowing and focused, building core, shoulder and hip strength as well as endurance. It teaches you awareness of breath, body alignment, building coordination and gives you back confidence in your body. With practice people can obtain improved posture, greater abdominal/core and back strength, flexibility, improve balance and gain a trimmer more agile and stronger body.

Michelle runs such a great variety of classes. Tonight I was feeling a little sore all over and decided I’d try the Yin roller class at 6pm. I’m so glad I did!! It was amazing, I left feeling like I’d had a full body massage. Michelle, you’re a wonderful inspiration to so many of us in the Valley, constantly providing new techniques to keep us all moving.
