Wellers Hill Medical Centre was established by Dr. Nicholas Conomos in 1961. We are located in the leafy suburb of Tarragindi only 8km from the Brisbane CBD. In recent years, we have seen many new young families move into this area that was previously populated by elderly couples.
Our practice has expanded to reflect these changes, and we currently have 8 female and 8 male practitioners with a broad spectrum of medical expertise to serve the health care needs of the community.Our welcoming team of medical, nursing and administrative staff are continually striving to improve our overall care of our patients.

We are committed to training GP registrars in both their first year and second year of training. Our registrars are fully qualified medical Doctors who are undertaking advanced training in General Practice.

I’ve been visiting this practice for a few years now.
My usual GP is Dr Leena O’Brien, she is the best! So caring, patient and knowledgeable.
I have also seen a few other of the GPs at this practice, all have been good. A big thanks to all of the Wellers Hill staff for always being professional and friendly even during these crazy COVID times

Really disappointed with the receptionist Claire who was rude, uncaring and spoke down to me even after my referral had gone missing for 2 months. This is someone's health they are concerned about and already stressed over. This is the last thing people need. I won't be returning to this medical centre again after this treatment, even though I have been going for 10 years.

Have been a Paitient since 2007. Had many greaat treatment experiences and always give me time and great reception treatment.. The Sars Cov-2 and Influenza vaccination organisation has been fantastic. My current Doctor Dr Stan Theodoros very professional and caring of my Needs. My brother also a Patient and also very happy with Range ot Ancillary Services eg. Podiatry. ,QML and a range of Specialist Services. Brilliant.

I have been seeing Dr Viet Tran for a number of years now. I remember still my first appointment prior to seeing him feeling anxious though immediately I picked up on his calm and positive energy ..a demeanor he presents that has never changed in the many times I have seen him in the years since..irrespective of how busy and how long his day has been. He has continued to provide medical guidance and advise on general wellbeing for which I will always be grateful. The practice as a whole and all staff you feel are working to create a positive environment. t Would recommend highly. thanks

We have been attending this medical Centre for 23 years, despite moving house three times, each time further away. The centre has undergone significant renovations, now offering more doctors and specialists. I usually wait longer than I'd like, but I allow for it. I have a fantastic relationship with our GP and despite him often not having had a break all day, always takes the time to ask about my world and my children. This, and his medical knowledge, are what matter most..

Visited Wellers Hill medical to have Covid testing. The place is very well set up for Covid with a separate area for high risk patients.
Pros:
- Well established medical centre with many doctors available
- I have been told by friend's the doctors here are very good
Cons:
- I have been told to come 10 mins early as this was my initial consult. Waited 40 mins, consult was 5 mins. This was OK as I knew exactly what I required, however, still got charged $130. The only additional questions I have been asked that seemed relevant for initial consult were very basic questions like smoking/drinking

Come on down to Dr. Diana! They do botched mirenas, botched kyleenas- anything they put into your cervix will absolutely cut your internal lining by 50%! That's right- by at least 50%! And they’ll all have to be removed! That’s right ladies- every IUD inserted at your own cost will go so far down into your cervix- it will just have to go! They’ll even do hidden prices, ghost your phone calls and your radiology information will absolutely be delivered a day late! Cervical infection test fees post-procedure are just the beginning! It’s a big-budget boutique beaver-breaking bonanza!
