HCMC runs by appointments, however we do keep openings for emergencies. You can make an appointment with the doctor of your choice by phoning the clinic or via our online appointment system by downloading the HCMC app from the App store. Urgent medical issues will be dealt with promptly. Appointments are made at 10-20 minute intervals, when making your appointment please advise staff if you need extra time or have multiple issues to discuss.
HCMC is a mixed billing practice with Aged Care Pensioners being bulk billed and Concession card holders billed at a discounted fee. Private and Concession card holders need to finalise their accounts at the time of consultation. We accept payment by cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa. The clinic can submit claims on the patient's behalf for those claiming a Medicare rebateable item.
Home visits can be arranged on a case by case basis for regular patients that are unable to come to the clinic due to severity of their illness and also depend on the availability of our doctors. Home visits are at the GP's discretion and are charged a fee which can have a significant out of pocket cost.
Hoppers Crossing Medical Centre is committed to preventative care and has a system of registering patients for recall for clinically significant results and preventative advice. As your doctors, it's as much our responsibility as yours, which is why we request your details be included in our patient reminder system.

Visited the hospital on Jan 2021. Requested immunization records update for my kids. Fast forward two months, they weren't updated.
Went to the clinic asking for a reason, I was made to believe that the process is such, that it takes forever to get updated.
Another follow-up two weeks later, they promised a call from Nurse and she'd explain where they were stuck. That call never happened.
After 3 and half months, decided to try to get the records updated at another GP on Sayer Rd, and voila! They updated in one day and I see them on MyGov the next day.
Pathetic experience and my kids daycare

Over an hour wait not very happy our appointment was 3:10 we were still here at 4:07 had to go up to front and ask multiple time if we were in next. We got told twice your in next but we were not. 3 more people went in before us and they got here after us we are furious with the clinic at the moment hopefully they can inprove. The were 2 good things about the clinic though the most of the doctors are good and reception staff very friendly.
