Physiophix is NDIS registered for both Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Therapy Assistant work.

Services
Kinesio taping is used for acute and chronic injuries. It can be used to reduce muscle spasm and tightness, facilitate muscle strengthening, support low-grade ligament tears and reduce swelling. Kinesio tape will last for several days, is waterproof so you can shower and go for a swim and best of all it is light and flexible so you don't even know it is on!
Myofascial releases are a special form of deep tissue manipulations that have long-lasting effects. It is great for both acute and chronic pain. Myofascial releases are performed by only a handful of practitioners on the Central Coast. If you have tried other forms of massage and therapy with no relief of your symptoms, call Physiophix and try a course of myofascial releases.
VNG utilises goggles with an infrared camera to assess nystagmus during a number of different tests. Nystagmus is an involuntary eye movement that occurs when you have vertigo or a vestibular problem. The pattern of nystagmus or eye movement helps diagnose your problem. Diagnosing vertigo or other vestibular problems using VNG is much more accurate than not using an infrared camera.

Physiophix at Toukley has a fully-equipped gym including treadmills, exercise bikes, rowers, cross-trainer, arm ergometers, resistance equipment and more. Being a private gym, it has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on your rehabilitation and health needs. The gym is available for post-operative rehabilitation, rehabilitation following sport and work injuries, neurological rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation.
