Dental health is an essential part of health and wellbeing. We've aligned the entire practice around one mission: to provide the best dental care possible from our patients' point of view. Did you know dentists are not just trained in teeth? They have training in the head and neck region including the skeleton, muscles and skin of the face, mouth and neck along with all the associated soft tissues of cheeks, gums, salivary glands and more.

Salamanca Dental is on your right once you exit the lift.
We offer a dental check-up service for new and existing patients in Hobart. A dental check-up is a service where our dentist performs a thorough inspection of the mouth, looking at the health of teeth, gums and surrounding tissues. A dental check-up allows the dentist to pick up issues early, often before serious dental diseases occur.
Teeth can discolour (or 'yellow') with time, or due to other reasons. Various products and procedures can be used to enhance the brightness of your smile. Salamanca Dental will design a teeth whitening plan that is specially customised to your unique requirements and smile. Our Hobart clinic uses dental products safely.
Porcelain or composite veneers are custom-made shells placed over the front of teeth to change colour, size or shape of the teeth, which are bonded (glued) into place. They can significantly change the appearance of your smile. Composite teeth veneers are carefully sculpted and shaped in the mouth, using a tooth-coloured filling material.
A dental crown is a custom-made restoration that is bonded to an existing tooth. Although our teeth contain hard structure of enamel, sometimes it can be damaged by loss of sound tooth from decay, chipping or cracking. Crowns need to be cared for just like natural teeth. We recommend 6-monthly routine dental check-ups and cleaning along with diligent home oral hygiene, to help the crowns last a long time.
