We take pride in building local relationships and a sense of community.

Providing our services in Morphett Vale for over 25 years, we have wide support from both the general practitioners and specialists in the area. These patients will need a referral from their doctor or specialist prior to being assessed and treated. Medicare provides a maximum of five treatments from allied health professionals a year for patients who have a chronic condition.
Services
For over 30 years we have been conducting physio treatment and consultation for anything from aches and pains to full injury rehabilitation. Headaches can occur for many reasons. Accurate diagnosis and treatment can lead to relief from, and in some cases cessation of years of debilitating pain.

Sports and exercise therapy can help to rehabilitate the injury site, and depending on the injury, exercises will be used to promote strength and flexibility.Using very fine needles within, or deep pressures on trigger points, both pain in the location of the trigger point and referred pain can be alleviated.
We conduct physiotherapy treatment and consultation for anything from aches and pains to full injury rehabilitation. For over thirty years, Deane Stephens Physiotherapy has been assessing and managing injury and disability in the Southern suburbs. As expert musculo skeletal practitioners, we do not need a doctor's referral to provide Physio for private patients.
Sports injuries can be caused by overuse, direct impact, or application of force that is greater than the body part can structurally withstand. Common injuries include bruises, muscle strains and ligament sprains, as well joint injuries including fractures. Treatment depends on the type and severity of injury.
Spinal mobilisation refers to techniques that are used to treat joint dysfunction often caused by stiffness, or pain. When indicated, joint mobilisation / manipulation is an effective means of restoring or maintaining movement within a joint and can also be used to treat pain. Movement within a joint and normalising the surrounding tissue is necessary for normal range of motion and function of any joint.
Hydrotherapy is the use of water for healing purposes using the buoyancy, warmth, and water resistance. Hydrotherapy is used to speed recovery after surgery, work injury and to reduce pain and stress, spasm, and discomfort in all areas of the body.

Following an assessment in the clinic, and an initial individual hydrotherapy session where programs are individually tailored to suit the patient's needs at the pool, the patient will join our group class. Our physiotherapist is at the pool to give ongoing guidance and advise. Hydrotherapy classes are held at Sherriffs Road Swimming Centre, Sherriffs Road, Reynella.
