At Vieira Dance School of Excellence, we are passionate about inspiring a love of dance in our students. Our purpose built studios are located upstairs in Weedon Close Belconnen, Canberra. With 2 studios in one convenient location, we are a small but busy and thriving school.
Our team of professionally qualified and highly skilled teachers delivers programs for children and adults to create a great foundation in dance and go on to pursue a career in dance if that is their goal.Conditioning, stretch and barre classes are offered as well as Pas de deux, exam preparation, and the opportunity to learn traditional ballet repertoire and National Character routines.

VDSE offers training in a wide variety of styles including Classical Ballet, National Character, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary Dance, Tap and Musical Theatre. My girls have been dancing at VDSE for five years and it has become their home away from home. VDSE is a welcoming, all inclusive positive Dance School. The students are encouraged to be the best they can be, their individuality is embraced and the dance teachers care about their welfare at the studio and outside of it. I can highly recommend VDSE to all!

My daughter absolutely loves Vieira!! The teachers are very dedicated, creative and inspiring. I have never seen my daughter so confident and passionate about dance like I have in the past year at VDSE. It’s very much like a big family, all the students help and encourage each other, I can’t recommend this dance school enough! We are so happy and look forward to many MANY more years to come!!
