The Gregory Academy Of Irish Dance is Canberra's Northside Irish dance school established in 1983. Irish dancing classes are taught in Belconnen and are available for toddlers (2.5+) to adults and for all skill levels - from beginners to open championship. Our dance classes cater for fun and fitness, performance and competition, solo and team dancing in a friendly, caring, family orientated and safe environment.

Our team focuses on teaching each child to be an individual whilst working with them to perfect their Irish Dancing skills from beginners through to championship standard, in a fun, caring, friendly and safe environment. Family is very important to our Academy, and we are proud that all of our dancers and families often refer to our Academy as their family.

Our Little G's class is for your little one who loves to move! This is a very special class for our tiniest dancers with a focus on learning, growing and developing in a fun, nurturing, social and exciting environment. Our Little G's learn to move to the music whilst learning Irish dance basics and rhythm through a range of games and activities designed to excite, engage and develop integral skills for dance and life.
The Gregory Academy Of Irish Dance Performance Troupe is available for hire for your next corporate or private event. Our Performance Troupe has performed at the Canberra Theatre, alongside Daniel O'Donnell in concert, at weddings, fetes and other corporate events. We provide highly energetic routines combining traditional and modern aspects of Irish dance that is sure to delight guests at your next event.
