Since first offering classes in 2005 and then opening our first studio in 2010, we have grown to provide the widest range of dance styles in Canberra from Salsa, Brazilian Samba and Bachata through to Zouk and Burlesque.
With a vision to have everyone in Canberra dancing, the passion of our instructors and our open approach to teaching shines through in all of our classes and events. At Salsabor, we believe family and friendship is everything. It helps people feel inspired to try something new, find their confidence, and achieve things they may not normally achieve on their own. This is why we created a safe and welcoming space for our family, filled with people like you, to learn, be passionate, develop life-long friendships, be 100 per cent themselves and sometimes even find love.
New to Salsabor and dancing? We've compiled answers to our most commonly asked questions below. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, send it through to info@salsabor.com.au and we'll get back to you within 48 hours. Partners are optional at Salsabor as we rotate partners in classes and ensure we have an even number of students to accommodate solo dancers.
We are so grateful that we are able to provided a space where our students can embrace their love of Latin dance and music in a welcoming community. Our uniting ingredient is Latin dance and Latin culture that we grew up living and breathing. If you are looking for a second home where you will learn to dance well and experience the Latin culture, you'll find it at Salsabor.
Registering for any of a class at Salsabor means you agree to our terms in conditions as set out on our terms and conditions page. Please note, we are taking all the necessary precautions at the studio to you and our staff safe. When entering the studio, use the hand sanitizer provided at reception, stay 1.5 meters from other students when not doing partnerwork, and please bring your own drink bottle to class.

We engaged Salsabor for my sister-in-law's hens party earlier this month. From the moment of first contact Salsabor were extremely helpful.
I stuffed up and provided the studio with two different dates however they did not make a fuss over it and ended up sending three dancers on the day of the actual event which was an awesome surprise. We had so much fun learning Bachata with Jason, Kristen and Peter! Thank you :-)

I love learning how to dance with Salsabor Dance Studio!!
I have learnt so much from all the amazing instructors, made lifelong friends and have learnt how to dance along the way. Salsabor Dance Studio has such a fun and wide variety of classes, I love that I am able to hip hop on the same night I learn to samba and then dance salsa! I look forward to many more rewarding years with Salsabor Dance Studio! Their location is perfect, right in the center of the city and being able to hire their studio space for work and private functions is fantastic!
Would recommend hiring out the studio's as well

A dance school that makes you feel at home and a place to have a lot of fun. Everyone is friendly and lovely. The instructors are patient and you get spoilt too on your birthday! Just got to love it!
I know one thing for sure that Salsabor has the capability to transform a person into a beautiful dancer because the instructors are very passionate when it comes to teaching.

I've been dancing with Salsabor for a bit over a year now. When I first started I didn't know what to expect and I was super nervous to start something new. I was amazed at how warm and welcoming everyone was. The instructors are knowledgeable, talented, enthusiastic and hilarious. A class doesn't go by when they don't give us all a good giggle.
Since I've started I have become healthier, fitter and more confident in both body and soul. I love dancing and strongly recommend Salsabor to anyone thinking of taking up something new, it'll change your life.

Salsabor is a fantastic studio!
