Dr David Stasiuk & Dr David Wilson purchased the clinic from Dr Chris Roach in 2010 after spending time in the UK and Australia developing their veterinary skills and knowledge. Services
By appointment seven days a week. House calls can be arranged if you would prefer to be seen in the comfort of your own home. Emergencies can be brought into the clinic immediately and will be seen as a priority. In house Laboratory, Radiography, Ultrasound, and an External Laboratory are used daily to ensure disease processes are defined and your pet's health is optimised.
We are proud to advise our visiting dermatology practitioner Dr Daniel Mitchell is here at Cheltenham each Wednesday to assist you with your pet's challenging skin and ear complaints. Dr Mitchell has certified in dermatology by examination and case work through the Universities of Luxembourg and Vienna, with considerable training on campus over 3 years with the world's leading dermatologists.

What a great experience! Today I took my 8 week old kitten in for her overall health check and first immunisation and all I can say is that I will not consider going anywhere else!
Whilst on the phone actually making the appointment earlier during the week, I had a great conversation with the receptionist, Laurene. Laurene was very helpful and answered my questions without hassle.
Laurene, a second receptionist and the vet, Billy (I believe), greeted us with smiles the second we walked in. Billy treated Jessie so well and I think she really liked her experience just as much as we did!

A would like to send a very big thank you to all at Cheltenham Vet Clinic. Yesterday I had to take our beautiful 13 year old Jack Russell named Ziggy to the vet to put him out of his misery as he has been suffering from dementia for some time and I had to face the fact that his quality of life was fading. The care and understanding shown to me from all the staff was exceptional. I was an absolute mess and the compassion shown to me was wonderful and I am sincerely grateful. I have been taking my 5yo pooch to this clinic since he was a pup. I contacted them recently around 4pm, desperately seeking an emergency appointment, as my dog was suffering from a suspected case of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE can be fatal if not treated). Due to Covid-19 restrictions, contacting the clinic first seemed the right thing to do, as opposed to just showing up. I was desperate, knowing from a past experience, his health would continue to decline, if not given the necessary medication. I was told by reception, they were fully booked & maybe I should contact another vet or go to

This is easily the best vet practice in Melbourne! From the moment you walk in, you and your pets feel incredibly welcome. The reception staff are friendly and professional. Dr David Stasiuk is excellent, he makes owners and pets feel completely at ease, and he is extremely knowledgeable. Our labs love going to this clinic!

The best vet in the bay side area! Our two dogs (and their humans) love visiting Cheltenham vet. The reception is so warm and welcoming, cuddles and treats in abundance. The vets here are knowledgeable, informative and caring. They are genuinely interested in how your pet is developing. One of our huskies is reactive to being handled and the vets are very patient, they make the whole experience so relaxing and positive. We have tried other vet practices in the south-east (for last minute emergencies) and the level of service and attention Cheltenham vet offers is second to none. Keep up the amazing

I highly recommend this vet clinic. David Wilson and David Stasiuk are by far the best vets I have ever taken my dogs to. They treat your pets as though they are their own pets and are so compassionate and caring about what they do. They take their time with you explaining things, they truly love what they do. The vet nurses are absolutely wonderful and caring - what a great bunch of girls! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.
