Yashwant Dhiman is a certified driving instructor and a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association. With 23 years of combined working experience in different service industries (teaching, customer service and public transport [Metro Tas]), Yashwant has a strong passion for teaching individuals the significance of defensive and proactive driving.

Highly recommend Proactive Driving school. I was very nervous at first being behind the wheel, but Yash, who is my driving instructor made me feel very comfortable and in time, confident. If you're looking for an instructor that you can be comfortable with quickly while teaching you accurate driving techniques in a way thay can be easily picked up, Yash is the guy.

The lessons were informative and the instructor was extremely knowledgeable and the car was sanitized and even had its own covid check-in which was cool. Learning to drive felt safe, comfortable and was a very fun experience, and one which I would definitely recommend!

Best driving school ever! I started from scratch and he was very patient with me. He even accommodated my crazy schedule and fit my lessons to suit my timings. I even passed from the first try! I would 100% recommend this school to anyone who wants to drive.

My driving instructor Yash is a really nice person, he is really helpful, patient and inspiring, helped me a lot for passing the test. And YES! I passed my test. Also, l learned a lot from him about driving not only the test but also safe driving on road. I absolutely recommend Yash to anyone at any stage of driving.

Honestly the best driving school in Hobart. Both my partner and I only took a couple of lessons and Yash taught us everything. We were both extremely satisfied with the lessons we got from Yash. Both of us passed our test in the first attempt. Thanks Yash!!

I passed my overseas conversion driving practical assessment in one go. Yashwant is very professional and with full of knowledge about the test and markings. I have been driving for years but spending 2-3 hours with him on driving practice completely changed my driving style and added to my practical knowledge. Highly recommend him if you are looking for friendly and good teacher.
