When I apologised about a slightly torn note which was still clearly legal tender I was simply told ‘no we won’t accept that’ and ‘yes I am happy to break the law’. When asked why the owner replied that a no was enough, but went on to aggressively explain that an auto teller would not accept it. I said this may help to explain this to a customer… rather than a flat ‘no, I’m happy to break the law’, but the owner angrily said ‘I think the word no is enough’. I ordered a bouquet of tulips however it was out of stock. The florist made a beautiful bouquet of pink shades of flowers of same value to my order. Thank you for making the birthday of my daughter special . It made her feel our presence though we are separated from each other because of the pandemic....

Generally these guys are really good but must have got the owner on a bad day. I attempted to take a faulty helium balloon back that was less than 12 hours old. Owner made me feel small, popped the balloon with her scissors after I refused to take a deflated balloon back to my young son who was already disappointed. I've just left the industry of 15 years & wouldn't even dream of treating a customer the way I was spoken to. Use with caution; they obviously won't be prepared to offer any compensation if their product is less than satisfactory.
