About Report

The Princes Lodge Motel started life as a grand private home for Arthur Waterhouse in 1913. The Main Building and Coach House behind were converted into a Motel and offers 23 rooms of various styles and proportions. Built on two large Blocks the premises offer green space at the rear to relax in, a balcony with views over the Park-lands towards the Adelaide Hills and space to park your car.

Help yourself to a light breakfast of cereal, toast and spreads, juice, fruit and espresso coffee each day in the dining room, relax under a tree in our garden, park your car and check social media and emails on our kiosk PC or use free WiFi on your own device. At the Princes Lodge Motel the only extra you will have to pay for is that choccy bar or drink from the vending machine.

We are located at 73 Lefevre Terrace North Adelaide SA 5006. North Adelaide has many cafes, restaurants and bars catering to all tastes only 5 minutes walk from the Motel. A little further are all the attractions of Adelaide City; including Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Aquatic Centre, Adelaide Zoo with their Giant Pandas Wang Wang and Fu Ni, Adelaide Central Market, Botanic Gardens and the National Wine Centre.

Great rustic old mansion to stay in, all the mod cons and the best free coffee machine (with fresh ground beans) and included breakfast I have had, service was friendly and all kept neat and tidy.

Nice old historical place with not alot of upgrades..
But VERY Good CLEAN rooms with basic amenities.. very quiet apart from traffic which you really don't notice after a while..
I would stay again.. 😊

It's an old Edwardian double storey large premises. Rooms are clean, serviceable and staff are friendly.
Very happy to come back as walking distance (5 mins) to O'Connell Street and a 20min walk to city. Would be closer to 3:5 than 3 stars

Wow what can I say it was everything I hoped fore and more. the brakefast was a good surprise. David and Andrew are so friendly and the other staff. would highly recommend we had a family room and we would say it was so much better then they stay we had at the crown in march. thank you for a wonderful stay David and andrew

Extremely unimpressed with the phone call I received from staff after my online booking did not go through. He was so rude which was completely uncalled for considering that I had voiced that I was confused as to why my booking had not gone through. The staff member was rude and when I tried to explain he hung up on me. Glad that my booking did not go through, I couldn’t imagine having to actually stay as a guest with staff like that working there.

At first we thought it was great had character not bad for a little date night away then in the middle of the night we were woken by screams for help and looked out our window to see two people screaming and beating the crap out of each other and another man standing screaming their names to stop which was a staff member screaming to another man… who we seen to have been there also. upon check out we were told it was nothing to do woth them and people off the street and lied to us about it not realising we seen the entire thing. I would hate to have been the car parked at the front as it

A fantastic grand 1913 mansion overlooking the parklands in the centre of Adelaide (North Adelaide) only 15 minute walk to Adelaide Oval. A very reasonably priced Motel with all facilities you need for a comfortable stay with ensite rooms and rooms with a shared bathroom with a Continental Breakfast included in the tariff. Book direct with this Well Managed Motel and enjoy your stay as we did for 4 nights.

Large family room, clean and well presented. Location and price can not be beaten. We had to change our plans and the manager was very helpful. And finally our daughter left a small Xmas present in room and the managers were happy to post it back to us. Highly recommend!

Lovely, quirky, convenient motel. Ive always had great service and while the rooms are a bit dated they are clean and well maintained. very friendly managers, ive always got a little 'faulty towers' vibe staying here which appeals greatly to my sence of humour. highly recommend.

Would definitely recommend this for accommodation as it is close to O'Connell street where all the eating restaurants are and close to the city for walking and easy access to public transport

Fix the shower it was hot and cold I nearly burnt myself also bathroom wasn't the cleanest towels had fluff on them not much variety for breakfast bed uncomfortable didn't sleep well should have ensuite in rooms
