We went for the much larger King bed room which was perfect - so much space and the biggest walk in shower - it was terrific! Reception was professional and always helpful. Our first time at this Motel and we were surprised! There is no reception it has to be done via Internet or their other motel close by, entrance to motel and rooms is done via a number code system.

Pin codes are issued via text with detailed description of where to find your room so no problem arriving after hours. Also means no issues with magnetic cards losing your access (or losing the card itself).
Location is fab, the room was nice and presented value for money. I will choose choose stay there again.

I've stayed here on 2 seperate occasions.
Both times the rooms have been clean and pleasant. WiFi, washing & drying facilities, and room is equipped with all you really need for a night or 2 away. If you require any thing else it's in a great location to access cafe's, restaurants, public transport or anything really.
If I need to stay away from home, I'd definitely come back.

We've been using the O'Connell Inn for numerous years due to location, price and good housekeeping, unfortunately, the new owners have other ideas and for whatever reasons the housekeeping is well below par.
We stayed 3 nights with our room being serviced once, no hot water from any taps, tepid at best, tea and coffee never refilled.
Usually can't be bothered with reviews but this has been our preferred accommodation over a long period of time and will definitely be our last.

Large comfortable rooms, newly renovated bathrooms. Excellent beds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Close to lots of great restaurants and pubs. Free city bus is a 5 min walk. Nice and quiet location yet close to the city.
If you want a very comfortable place with great staff at rates that are very reasonable stay here.
