Amethyst Dance Studios holds a variety of dance classes and lessons suitable for all ages, both adults and children. If you're interested in starting some dance classes or lessons in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, our family friendly dance school offers 11 types of dance classes. Examinations are not compulsory and all RAD grades may be attended for the simple pleasure of dance.

Took my three year old there for a trial lesson the other day. Miss Kathryn clearly has a passion for working with kids! Not only was she very creative with them, she made it entertaining and fun. The class size is small, so lots of personal and attention instead of kids waiting, plus a lot of group dances which makes it fun for the small ones. Also as a parent it is very pleasant to wait, as everything is very easygoing. Can highly recommend if you want your little one to enjoy and learn dance, appreciate music and learn skills like working as a team/group, while having fun!

My children have danced at Amethyst Dance Studios since 2011. My kids are very passionate about dance, and that is all that they want for their future careers. I would highly recommend this dance school to any parents who's children want a career in dance, the staff are highly qualified and professional, but truely care about your children.
