This medical practice openly discriminates against those who cannot wear a mask, and have a legal medical exemption letter. I went here reluctantly after my husband called to verify it was ok to not wear a mask. Upon arrival the receptionist said nothing to us about not wearing masks. A doctor walked out and asked if we had masks, we said we have exemptions, and he said ‘I don’t think it matters.’
Well it matters very much to me if i can’t breathe, vomit and have a panic attack. The doctor didn’t ask to see my exemption letter, and when I said I was distressed that he was discriminating

Not a good experience - won't be back
I have a medical exemption as I can not legitimately wear a mask and was told I can not go in with my son. Doctor ended up giving him useless cream that we had already been using but as I wasn't allowed in with him I wasn't able to explain. Had to wait again to see doctor to try and get cream that actually works - the whole reason I paid to see a doctor was to not get something I could buy from chemist myself which is exactly what he gave me. Bloody hopeless and don't care to take you on as an individual person who may not be medically able to wear a mask

My wife was told she can't book an appointment because there is no record of her visiting this practice before, so the available time slot was to be left open in case someone who is in their records needs to see a Dr. We are locals and myself and our kids go to this practice when we need to. What kind of business turns away customers? I hope the owners read this as the receptionist needs a lesson in business 101.
Follow up. The office manager contacted me after reading this review and appologised and was able to get my wife an appointment. Great follow up. Thank you.

Wonderful experience from making appointment, attending clinic and being treated by doctor.
As I very rarely see doctors of any description, I was surprised and happy at the punctuality, professionalism and streamlined service. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. My appointment was right on time, no waiting around and the doctor was pleasant, no nonsense and very attentive
Highly recommended!

Great doctors however the lady at the front desk needs coaching on customer service.
I felt very unwelcome like I was an inconvenience to her day. I tried to be polite to her despite her unfriendliness. Shes either unhappy in her job, under allot of pressure or is just plane rude.
I get that working in this industry is not easy however I always feel like this when I come here.
I almost feel like apologising for wanting to see a doctor.

Reception are rude and unprofessional. The treatment of patients is appaling. The way the practice is run is disgraceful. They work in a care industry yet do not care about patients wellbeing at all. Most of the doctors are great except for one who is also rude and has no bedside manner. Its a shame the reception are so rude as most of the doctors are great.

I couldn’t speak more highly of Dr Rose Iron, she listens, cares and takes her time with you, I never feel rushed out of her office. Dr Iron is by far the most caring doctor I have seen and I will be recommending her to family and friends. Anne on reception is always so lovely and welcoming as well. Suncoast medical will be our long term medical practice.
