The Stella Street Veterinary Clinic is a companion animal practice that has been established for over 30 years. The clinic has been renovated and has the latest monitoring and diagnostic equipment. We have new ultrasound, x-ray and anesthetic machines. This will ensure the best treatment for your beloved companion.

Services
We are involved with the RSPCA, Animal Welfare, National Desexing Network, Wires and Wildlife ARC. We all also attend fundraising events with the above agencies. We also encourage visiting to sick and hospitalised animals. Sometimes when they are not feeling the best a familiar face will help them recover quickly.
I have been a vet for over 25 years now and still thoroughly enjoy what I do. I have a keen interest in surgery especially in orthopaedic operations such as cruciate repairs (Knee Reconstruction) and luxating patella surgery (Dislocating Knee Caps) which are common problem in dogs.
I am also interested in treating dogs with long standing skin problems and find it very rewarding to see animals recover from being extremely itchy & irritated to enjoying a normal life again.I love what I do, don't see it as "work" & enjoy the look on clients faces when their companion is back on the road to recovery.

After asking for a quote on a procedure I previously had done last year on my dog. I was charged double the price because they didn’t charge me correctly the first time in 2021when my dog was there for this procedure. Then without knowing or being told they clipped my dogs nails while she was under. They almost completely clipped it off. She has been bleeding pools of blood since the procedure. They didn’t even finish the other paw. I would of declined the clipping service had I been aware because my dog grooms her own nails and I have never had to flip them. Now I have to replace or pay to

Lake Street Vet Clinic is awesome! Great staff, with vets who really care about our mini schnauzer. I’ve been impressed with how quickly they’ve been able to fit us in when something is wrong, and with how quickly they get our little guy back on his feet! Professional, kind, efficient, and effective. What more could you want?

Positive: Professionalism
I took our puppy in to be neutered. It is the first time that I have dealt with a vet in many years. I found the experience to be very satisfying and easy. The staff was helpful and thorough, and I felt at ease with the whole process. My 'little boy' is doing very well and does not seem to be at all affected by the procedure.

Took in two dogs for visit, one with a physical problem. vet was really knowledgeable about both breeds (two distinct breeds with characteristics to match), knew the challenges with both. was very responsive with the ones challenge - even searching for a sooner date to schedule a procedure sooner than typical because he was concerned. great staff, super clean, very understanding. terrific and have moved all pet care here!

Stella Street Veterinary Clinic. Our baby had a procedure done yesterday by Michael. I would like to thank Michael, Stephanie and Chris for you very friendly ways and dedication to all of our fur babies. The whole procedure was explained to me and when things changed Michael called me to see if I would give permission for the altered procedure to… go ahead. And I said yes... After some tears. I was not left in the dark at any time. I was also called after the procedure to give me a heads up on what to expect when we pick Kimba up. Then on pick up Stephanie came out to have a chat with us

I wouldn't go anywhere else. I only go to Michael who I trust with my babies explicitly. He is always professional and friendly as is the rest of the staff. Michael has been my vet for over 20 years now. He… performed crutiate surgery on my Bully X and he now cares for my 2 Chihuahuas who are my babies and are my whole life. We have been with Stella Street Vet for 13 years now and can’t recommend them highly enough! Our beautiful boy Tracker was loved and cared for by Steph, Chris, Faye and Michael his entire life. They have always gone above and beyond for our boy and we have always felt so incredibly welcome and loved. We lost our beautiful boy Tracker 1 month ago and Faye, Steph and Chris were just so incredibly compassionate during this time 💙 you guys rock our world 🐾💙🐾
