Our purpose built hospital offers our clients both digital radiography (X-ray) and ultrasound. Our X-ray has the added benefit of being portable, meaning our large animal clients don't miss out on this service which can be provided on-farm. A great way to bond with your new four legged friend and gain all important information on their care and training!

Dr Phillips has treated thousands of animals with Acupuncture and it has improved the quality of lives of many pets, and helped the performance of a great many Equine Athletes. Brachycephalic dogs are all the breeds with short faces: Pugs, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Bulldogs and Boxers are the most popular breeds, but even Cavalier King Charles Spaniels fall into that category, but more mildly so.
Services
At Coast and Valleys Veterinary Hospital, we understand that our pets are a part of the family and treat each and every one that comes through our doors as if they were our own. The practice is owned and run by head veterinarian Keith Phillips who in 2011, after many years working as a veterinarian on the central coast, decided to open Coast and Valleys Vet in Wyong.
Keith has been a Central Coast local since 1988, has been in Equine & mixed practice since graduating from University of Sydney in 1986. He has postgraduate training in both Animal Chiropractic and Acupuncture and has a special interest in managing Arthritis. In his spare time over the years Keith has enjoyed his Polocrosse.
Routine vaccination is an important part of keeping your pet happy and healthy. Not only does vaccination protect your pet against serious life threatening diseases, but encourages routine annual health checks. 7. Leptospirosis. Our program for these is a c3 Vaccination at 6-8 weeks then c7 at 10-12 weeks and a c7 again at 16 weeks.
Our purpose built hospital offers our clients both digital radiography (X-ray) and ultrasound. Our X-ray has the added benefit of being portable, meaning our large animal clients don't miss out on this service which can be provided on-farm. Ultrasound is a useful tool used in the diagnosis of many diseases and conditions from urinary tract disease to liver masses.
This provides us detailed information about of your pets red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets and can help detect underlying disease and conditions including anaemia, bleeding disorders, infection, inflammation and stress. Biochemistry testing gives us a summary of the body's systems and how they are functioning including the liver, kidneys, pancreas and gastrointestinal system and endocrine system.

Keith and his wonderful family of employees understand crazy pet people like myself and are always there to listen. I’ve been taking all my animals there for over 10 years. I’d drive 100km+ to take my animals there because the care and professionalism is beyond compare

My beautiful Honey dog passed away, not in a sterile surgery, but overlooking the lovely horse paddocks outside. The staff organised for us to be outside in the garden, so she wouldn't be stressed, as she hated going to the vets. I couldn't recommend the Coast & Valleys Vets more. They also sent a beautiful card for Honey's family. So thoughtful.😭😪

As a dog breeder I have used the services of Coast and Valley a number of times over the past 2 years. My pups have either had to have a check up or operation for unbiblical hernias or for cherry eye as this is common in my breed. I usually get my staff to take the pups to the vet and pick them up and ask for a call from the vet once the check up or operation is done. I have to say that the follow up call from the vet never happens. The reception always calls me and asks for payment which I do over the phone with a credit card and I ask for a call from the vet. I am not sure if the message never

This has been our first visit to Coast and Valley Vets with our very sick little girl Gracie. Dr Alicia was amazing with her care along with the rest of the staff. Gracie had to stay for several nights and they allowed us to visit with her every day. We cannot thank them enough for getting her back home to us.

I can't recommend Coast and Valleys Vet enough. They are kind and understanding of animals in all shapes and sizes. Our dog hates the vet, but they treat him with kindness and they understand his fear and work with him to ensure he doesn't miss out on having his health cared for. I feel so confident in leaving him in their care. Thank you to the wonderful team.
