Founded in 2011, Leanne McGrath followed her dream of opening her own Irish Dance School. From what began as a small program, Leanne has grown her school to promote Irish Dancing to all levels and abilities. With a background in Personal Training, McGrath Irish Dance is focused on smart training sessions to ensure dancers get the maximum out of each session.

Leanne is determined to drive those dancers willing to head for the top of competition. McGrath Irish Dancer's have numerous State Solo and Team titles to their name. McGrath have had representation at the ACT State Championships, Australian Championships, North American Nationals, All Ireland Championships, Great Britain Championships and the prestigious World Championships.

McGrath Irish Dance is inclusive, welcoming and fun. My kids have been dancing with McGrath for 6 years. Over this time they have not only learnt amazingly technical dance moves to enable competition at a local, state and national level, but also developed critical life skills such as goal setting, resilience, persistence, time management, humility and compassion.
Leanne is enthusiastic and motivated to bring out the best in each of them, understanding their individual capabilities and driving them to their full potential.

Leanne is amazing and she teaches the kids so much more than just Irish Dancing. She focuses upon sportsmanship, team work and valuing and supporting those you work / dance with. My kids are not just better dancers because of time spent at her studio, they are better people also.

Here at mcgrath we have some incredible dancers with lovely personality including our teacher Leanne. Leanne is the best teacher you could ask for.... There is so many reasons about Leanne for why she is so… great. :she pushes you to be the best you can be at that moment, she has already had the experience of competing and pushing + she knows what she is talking about when she corrects you she will notice every bit you do incorrectly. McGrath irish dance runs from begginer to primary to champ 3 to champ 2 and then champ 1/open.
