Services
At Northside Automotive we have designed a complete range of services that cater from highly technical vehicles available on today's market, to the family run about. The technology used in maintaining these vehicles is changing faster than it ever has before. We at Northside Automotive are constantly training our technicians in the knowledge and techniques required to service all vehicles we see in today's market.
When a new car is sold the manufacturer provides a log book as part of the delivery package. This booklet provides both owners and technicians with vital information regarding the anticipated service procedures, inspection points and servicing intervals required for the safe operation of the vehicle.
The main enemies of cooling systems are heat, age, lack of maintenance and stray current. Here at Northside Automotive Everton Hills we apply a long term management plan for your cooling system. When you service your vehicle with us, we check your coolant for strength and clarity. We check and record stray current levels (if any), and finally assess any potential problems that may arise from age or heat related issues.
The automatic transmission in your vehicle should be serviced at the manufacturer's recommended service intervals, or if your vehicle does a lot of heavy towing you may need to service the automatic transmission more regularly. If you are unsure, call us at Northside Automotive today. We will be able to advise you of the condition of the transmission fluid and the operation of the transmission.
Servicing is all about preventative maintenance and the same applies to the air conditioning system in your car. When an air conditioning system is operating corrosive acids are produced. The receiver dryer is part of the system and is designed to collect these acids, along with moisture. It's a bit like a filter that is capable of removing moisture from the atmosphere.

Unprofessional service. Went to this place as the reviews were good.
Our car had no previous issues prior to this. Took our car in initially as it started overheating and engine light was on. A week later, said it was all fixed & charged us $700. Our car then had the same issues a week after (engine overheating) so we took it back in. There was no communication from the mechanic for 2 days & when they finally let us know what was going on, he said it will take a while to fix as parts would have to be sourced which was fair enough. A week later the mechanic called & said everything has been fixed

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
Provided full information and excellent options with professional attitude. Very happy Northside Automotive are fully approved for logbook services and more on my VW Amarok. Car was well looked after while there and I was phoned during the service to ask about a service option. Happy customer and I will definitely be returning.

I was very disappointed with the service and quality of Northside Automotive as I was almost ripped off. I took my car to receive a road worthy inspection and the result was multiple issues with my car. The man over the phone quoted me $1250 for the repairs. I called back to ask for a written quote with all repairs that need doing and was met with a rude attitude and hesitance. He was also not happy about having to put my car back together.
I got a second opinion from 3 other mechanics and they all quoted the repairs at $800.
When I took it to another mechanic to be fixed they found nothing wrong
