Principal Geoff Chisholm has been coaching & teaching ballroom dancing since turning professional in 1981 & is a former Amateur A grade State champion, 10 Dance Champion & winner of many professional titles in Standard, Latin American, New Vogue, English Old Time & Exhibition styles. We teach the basics of the Waltz, Slow Rhythm, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Salsa and Jive.
Our medal syllabus is comprehensive commencing with our sash class then moving on to bronze, bronze bar & silver classes. Gold classes are done in private lessons as they are complex & the routines require much more one on one time. Learn to dance Barn Dance, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, progressive Jive just to name a few.

Principal Geoff Chisholm has been coaching & teaching ballroom dancing since turning professional in 1981 & is a former Amateur A grade State champion, 10 Dance Champion & winner of many professional titles in Standard, Latin American, New Vogue, English Old Time & Exhibition styles. Geoff started dancing at the age of 15 when one of his friends had to learn for a wedding and asked him to go along, he was instantly hooked and never looked back.
The studio has been operating in the Northern suburbs of Perth since 1986 & we have taught many people from Joondalup, Kinross, Hillaries, Mullaloo, Kingsley, Landsdale & Waneroo to name but a few. We teach all forms of ballroom dancing including Standard, Latin American & New Vogue styles socially and Dancesport (which is the competition arm of ballroom dancing).
We have taught many couples in Standard, Latin American & New Vogue styles from level 1 through to level 5 & Professionals. When someone comes in to learn how to dance we teach them social dancing first then medal dancing & if they are interested we then progress them on to competition dancing (Dancesport).
Adult social and learn to dance class every Tuesday 7pm - 8.30pm running all year round start when you like. In our ballroom and Latin classes we teach, waltz, tango, slow rhythm, foxtrot, Quickstep, cha cha cha, samba, rumba, paso Doble, jive, salsa and a little merangue. Beginner and Intermediate learn to dance classes starting at 6.30 pm Thursday evenings, 10 week terms in line with school terms.
Come in with a song of your choosing & we will choreograph a Wedding Dance specially for you for your Wedding Day. There is no up front costs you pay as you go. Lessons are one hour in duration to start with. Everyone says how many lessons will I need. The answer is always the same you will know when you are ready & everyone learns at a different pace.

Geoff is the most amazing dance teacher I have ever met. He is professional, funny and generous - I have been dancing at his school for 2 years now and would recommend it to everyone. You get everything you pay for and much more; Geoff will ensure you or your child has the experience of a lifetime while you are in his studio. It's a cosy space with aircon and toilet and has ample parking onsite.
