Principal Julie and her team of instructors believe that Street Latin and Ballroom are best learnt in a fun and encouraging environment, with routines used as a guide only. With this in mind Danza Pasion helps people feel and move to the rhythm of the music and encourages the use of freestyle movements.
Learn to dance with passion and precision, as you move and sway to the rythym of the Argentine Tango at Danza Pasion! This unique dance, steeped in history and tradition, is not for the faint of heart, but for those who want to bring some excitement to the dancefloor. Our highly qualified instructors have decades of combined dance teaching experience.
Couples are welcome to stay together each class, or alternatively move on and switch partners throughout the class. Wonderful Feedback: We are proud to say that the most common feedback we get is that students feel our studio is a safe and warm place to learn to dance. Our students also often tell us is that our instructors make dancing so easy to learn!
Due to popular demand we now offer weekly Salsa Latin socials every Tuesday night straight after our beginners class at 8.40pm. This is in addition to our weekly Ballroom Social every Wednesday night. Dance the night away and practice all your new moves to Perth's best social dance DJ. Cost: Free to all our enrolled students, $10 for visitors.
Our dedicated and friendly staff are passionate about dancing and are always eager to help students any way they can. This combined with our very high teacher to student ratio of approximately one instructor per 4 - 6 students means that our students always get the attention that their skill level requires to feel confident with their dancing.

I recently joined the beginners Ballroom dancing class made up of 5 sessions. I initially went in with my husband (both of us seniors) who was unable to continue on with the entire program.
I however decided to continue and thoroughly enjoyed myself. A big thanks to Maria Marchesani who offered to partner me for the rest of the sessions.
Maria was very patient, understanding of my slowness at times, to pick up some of the moves, but always encouraging until I got it right in the end. A big 'thumbs up' from her every time I got a dance right, made me feel even more confident. Thanks Maria for

We had private lessons with Adam during the lead up to our wedding, and it was absolutely fantastic! Adam payed attention to each of our levels of ability and helped us to learn salsa, and put moves together to form a salsa routine for the wedding. Our guests were blown away!! We enjoyed the dancing so much, that we now seek out salsa clubs when we're away so we can use our dance moves, and learn even more!!! I originally came down to Danza to learn a few steps so I didn't look silly at a wedding. I learnt the hard way that dancing couldn't be mastered in 7 weeks but the instruction I was given was extremely easy to follow and I noticed that if someone was having a little trouble in the class more so than the others (i.e. me, multiple times), the instructors would provide a little more focus to them as necessary. The classes are great and very easy to follow / pick up, even if you're a flat out new starter, as I was. Everyone down there is upbeat and very friendly which is an added bonus. Highly recommend

I love Danza Pasion! The instructors are fun, talented and helpful. Having never really danced before Danza Pasion I wasn't sure even what one wears to dance! Happily (and to my immense relief!) it was not leotards (phew - there is only so much one can handle)!
I started with Latin dance on a whim with a few uni friends and loved it so much that I also took up ballroom. Aside from great instructors and fellow classmates, the community that Danza Pasion has fostered is remarkable. I always felt included and the instructors are encouraging. They provide both the routines and the technical breakdown

Couldn't recommend Julie enough as a dance teacher to make your first dance that little bit more memorable.
Leading up to our wedding in March we had Julie coach and teach us a vianese waltz. Her good vibes and patience throughout our lessons helped us to relax and truly enjoy the moment together. From the first lesson we had to the end Julie guided us with wedding wisdom and gave us the confidence we needed as we both had never partner danced before. She taught us to smile all through the nervousness and that's what we did. Beautiful and professional experience with Danza passion and Julie.
